I have to be honest - I'm not too excited about many of these. Some will be on Disney+
Hopefully the new Blade will be good even without Wesley Snipes.
Not sure how I feel about the new Thor....i never read the series when Jane becomes the new Thor but from what I've heard it wasn't very good (and those criticisms had nothing to do with making Thor a female). I've never thought Natalie Portman was a great actress and don't see her being a very good Thor but I've been wrong before.
What If....? Seems interesting but not sure how they will handle casting.
EDIT- James Gunn has tweeted Guardians vol 3 IS happening but he needs to finish Suicide Squad first.

1 ReplyI think the Thor movie will be good, the director knows what he is doing

2 RepliesShould've just ended the MCU with Endgame.

2 RepliesThis is a problem I have with the forced diversification. You can't have some 40 year old straight white guy who has been friendzoned by every chic he has ever met write a good female centric story. You also can't have so feminutzi write it either, because then the pendulum swings too far the other way. You need just a regular woman to write it. The same goes with race, LGBTQ+ and people that think they are a bear. When you force someone who is not of that culture to write it, they don't have the basic understanding of that culture to make it work. Blade is awesome because he is NOT a diversified character. The Miles Morales Spiderman is awesome because he is not a diversified Spider-Man. He is someone who has similar powers to Spidey and thus can be his own brand of Spider-Man. Personally, I don't give a shit so long as a certain someone stays as Punisher and Deadpool gets more movies.

If I’m being completely honest I hope Disney+ crashes and burns hard.

4 RepliesScrew Disney+ they cancelled daredevil for this bs.
-
6 RepliesI am looking forward to BP2, DS2, Black Widow, GotG 3, and maybe some of the shows.

After the Infinity Saga, I’m willing to give Marvel the benefit of the doubt. I’ll probably see their movies until I think they start sucking. Even the most boring ones they’ve made so far aren’t terrible.

Disney: “let’s put half of phase 4 on Disney+!” It’s not like Marvel is making billions on the MCU or anything...
-
1 ReplyToo much forced diversity and virtue signaling from Disney
-
1 ReplyI’ve never really like Natalie Portman either. The movies she is in are always meh(indirectly or directly because of her). And I hope they don’t politicize it all, I just Thor to be a space god who focuses on space god things, not earthly morals and politics ;-;

Did anybody else notice that Disney is monetizing the MCU now?

2 RepliesEdited by Cobravert: 7/23/2019 2:25:00 PMThey're past the milking of the genre now. I loved the Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Avengers movies, but not so much the filler movies. I have 0 interest in any of the tv shows that are out on any hero or villain by the MCU or DC. Making a whole new segment of D class heroes movies - count me out. Keep Spiderman going for a couple more, but outside that I'm not likely going to have any interest.

11 RepliesHow're they gonna do female Thor?
Wasn't her power derived from Mjölnir?

Which Hela destroyed.
-
1 ReplyPeople didn't like the fact that Natalie Portman was in the Thor movies which is why she was reduced. "Taking a break" As Thor said to Loki in the third movie. I don't think her playing the new Thor is gonna do so good.

... Ultimately the only thing I'm not excited, or at least intrigued about for the MCU is more Captain Marvel...
not included in the DLC
-
Edited by Latrodectus5002: 7/23/2019 3:34:10 AMLooks like mostly filler
Also being half Disney+ is disappointing
-
3 Replies... Well at least from the comics I read female Thor wasn't Jane Foster, and was basically just Thor but not as powerful...
not included in the DLC
-
2 Replies... But I'm excited for the next Doctor Strange for sure, and the Black Widow standalone, and it'll be interesting to see how they handle the Eternals in the MCU...
not included in the DLC
