State of Crucible
The current state of crucible is awful. Fusion rifles, grenade launchers, jotuun. Shoulder charge, hand held nova bombs. Cheap kills everywhere.

1 ReplyHey atleast your not getting kills by Lunas/nf right? Instead you guys wanted the Season of the No Skill OHKs. It's what all the bad players wanted. People will just find a new primary right? Not switch to broken OHKs right?

It's pretty bad when you can't even have fun in Mayhem, quickplay is sweatier than damn competitive now....which is probably a result of the bugs in comp

ya, destiny is a casual game. Super this , heavy there, it's suppose to be kinda light hearted i guess.

No matter what anyone says, having OHK weapons running everything is definitely worse than the LH/NF meta. It exacerbates just about every other problem the Crucible has from stacked teams to matchmaking not being able to tell how good anyone really is. Its still not as bad as it has been in the past though.

Edited by GLOCK STALLION: 7/13/2019 3:28:56 AMMate i found people are like fluid (sorry for the weird comparison, i work in hydraulics and it's what came to mind) they take the path of least resistance, the easy way....the lazy way. So regardless of what nerfs or "balance changes" come, people are still going to find cheesy weapons/mechanisms. While i'm not the best player or even close to it, the only things i can recommend is ether learn to play around it (adapt if you will) or conform and use the meta and while i chose to do the former, i can understand it if people find that the latter it the best option for them.

The only way you're going to reduce the use of OHK weapons and abilities in this game is by allowing primary weapons to kill MUCH faster than they do right now. But Bungie isn't willing to reduce the TTK down to about 0.6 secs. Which is what you'd need to do in order to allow players to stand their ground and fight on equal footing against people armed with special weapons. Until Bungie allows primaries to kill at a speed that can actually keep up with play? You're either going to get OHK weapon spam.....or you're going to get camp-and-team shoot. ....and I'd much rather deal with special weapons...then synchronized team shooting.

Edited by WulfPak666: 7/12/2019 6:05:57 PMI have a solution to this. Go into Menagerie. Farm for an Erentil. It will straight cancel everything you just complained about.. Guarantee. That's what I did and I haven't been shotgunned, super Nova, or shoulder charged ever since. It's also pretty good in pve as well. When you cross map Jötunn boy, he'll realize he done -blam!-ed up by using a toaster and he'll probably take out Lord of Wolves. Ha, that won't help him either. Agree with everything but shoulder. Shotguns and awareness cancel that out.
