Use Ishtar you can literally pull your guns from the post master to your inventory without going to the tower

Ishtar is a very good phone app. If you have the ability to have a laptop near you then you can also try out Destiny Item Manager. Personally I like it better than Ishtar but it's what I've been using since it came out so I'm just used to it. If you happen to want a particular weapon or armor piece that went to the postmaster then you can grab that one item and drag it to your character or you can simply grab everything she is holding. Ishtar might have the ability to grab individual items from her also, I honestly do not know though.
