Lumina quest. Invasion denied not counting (solved)
A few times in gambit when the enemy team invades, I've killed the invader right away without any teammates dying, yet it's not counting any progression. SOLVED (You must defeat the invader within 10 seconds of them spawning to your side, and without them killing any of your teammates)

I had the same issue. Denied the invader 10+ times mostly within the 10 seconds. I’ve finally completed it after dropping the invader within 3 seconds of them spawning. Terrible bug.

1 Replyso I've done this ~8 times now within 10 seconds and its not counting it. This is insane that Bungie is letting this go on now for just over 9 months.

2 Repliesso... still glitched months later. just killed an invader WITH ROSE before any teammates died and pretty sure within 10 secs as well. the amount of glitches and bullshit in this game is outrageous. what a -blam!-ing joke.

Yup, Bungie can’t fix anything right. I have killed the invader so many times but I have not gotten credit. Also where does it say in the quest you have to kill the invader in 10 seconds? Did Bungie leave that out?

1 ReplySame problem here. I had 3 invader kills and 2 were within the 10 second mark. Do you need to be in a fireteam with your clan or fireteam you put together or is the matchmaking fireteam good enough?

Kills have to be within 10 seconds of their invasion.

This not working killed invader within 10 seconds with Crimils dagger and nothing . Bungie fix this already

1 ReplyThis just happened to me too. Just killed the invader before the the 10 sec mark and nothing happened. So I did another gambit match, killed the invader just right after he spawned. left the game in an incomplete match warning . It's so frustrating!!!!

11 RepliesI have 4 "Not on my Watch" medals so far tonight, the quest still hasn't progressed. I have both other steps fully complete. (One kill was funny, he spawned about 20m away, ran straight at me with SG expecting an easy kill, and I had a Honed Edge up on Iznagi's - didn't even ADS but still 1-shot him. Dead within 2 seconds of spawning lol.)

3 days of grinding with and without my clan and nothing. I've killed the invader so many times under said requirements, my usual patience has been tested and beat up. both prior components are done....and I'm at a loss for words...I hope they fix it.

8 RepliesSo, question for everyone who has gotten it and everyone who is having trouble: Have you completed both other steps already? I have a suspicion that both steps might need to be complete before it will actually work, because I thought I had it 4-5 times and it didn't count, but the very next invader spawn kill after both other steps were complete worked. I did read that some people have abandoned the quest and then went for the invader kill first before the other steps, but what's unclear is whether they had completed the first 2 steps initially before abandoning the quest and having to start those over. The few responses I've had already from people who did not abandon the quest to get it to work seem to fit with this theory. The ones who got it to work had completed both other steps already.

2 RepliesI did Gambit Prime as well, had to make sure to have Rose equipped just to be safe. Just popped six shooter goldy and took em down, but it doesn't count if you do it and then leave the match, cause mine didn't count until the match ended (and we lost too, so you don't have to win to complete it either.) If that still doesn't count, then I honestly have no clue why then. But I wish you luck all the same.

2 RepliesSame issue here PS4. Did this about 6 times now, full fireteam, with and without Rose equipped, super, thunderbird. Even where the other person tried to give me the kill. Pleas fix. I may try to abandon the quest step and try again gambit first

I had same issue. Was first to kill invader before he could kill any team mates. Happened 5 times. Then I dropped into a game in progress right as invader showed up, killed him, and finished quest. I think there's a time limit guys. Pretty quick one.

2 RepliesDo you have a hand cannon equipped? You need it on to get it to count. Kinetic or Energy, how you kill is up to you, could use Jotunn, Izanagi's, super, etc.

2 RepliesThis is happening to me, we had a full fire team, we invited people from the other team into our party and coordinated. ALL players on my team got the step completed no problem but mine never checked off. I did hand cannon kills, supers, rockets, kill with the rose, kills within 10 seconds of them invading. I’ve SEEN the medal pop up on my screen and definitely have completed this multiple times. They invaded and walked right to the middle so I could rocket them, hand cannon them, even with the rose, nothing ever checked. They got it farming us and we got it farming them. This is ANNOYING now everyone on my team has completed this but me.

4 RepliesOkay can comfurm that its glitched if it dosent work for you and you did get the not on my watch metal within 10 sec delete the quest then pick it up from bennadict you will need to do crucible and orbs over again so do gambit first. I got it right after i tried again. I did not use a hand cannon used a sleeper insted. Didnt even have one equiped. I used alone as a god, last perdition, and sleeper.

I also had a hand cannon equipped just to be safe, but I got the kill with my super. PS: Bungie, please be more specific with the requirements next time.

3 RepliesCan confirm, you need to get the "Not on my watch" medal. One description of the medal I saw online said to land a final blow on an opponent who has damaged an ally, but in Gambit you can get it by killing the invader within 10 sec of them spawning in. I did that and he had not even fired his weapon and I got the medal, and the step was complete. Use Truth and good luck!
