Make magnificent howl great again
Please revert it back. Stay with 150rpm but give magnificent howl back.

After literally one day The excitement went away, it felt too easy and before I knew it, I was taking the gun out every time I was getting my ass kicked. I then realized that lunas how is basically a crutch weapon so I stopped using it and started using bows and other weapons. It didn’t take long for me to see everyone relying on their lunas howl or not forgotten to start doing well. I came to the conclusion that the weapon was actually busted and it ruined the balance of the game. Although I wasted 2 freaking days of my life grinding for the stupid gun, I never want a weapon like that in crucible again. Right now lord of wolves is destroying but bungie will address it soon so no worries, so no sorry, I give no F’s about lunas howl and its overpowered perk. Im glad they got nerfed because I can enjoy my weapons without the feeling of getting robbed because other players are using better weapons than me. The weapon on console still feels solid and still is the best handcannon in game, on pc the ace of spades is still the best hands down.

Bad players exp ruined by good players. Must "balance". AoS is easy to get. Service Revolver with KC is easy to get. Trust and Austringer are great too. Bygones is very strong. Erentil is very strong. I spent a good amount of time working for my Lunas (solo) and then you just shit on it because people can't get it or learn to counter. Mag Howl lasted like 3 seconds. Im fine with th RoF nerf but to kill the perk is garbage lazy.

I actually find the slower RPM is making me time my shots with the Luna way better, and still go for head shots regardless. It still seems like a go-to hand cannon, with the exception of say Last Word. The DRB/Luna/Truth/Wardcliff combo still hasn't fully died yet, despite the fact less people using it.

Pretty much agree on rebuilding it or roll-back. It just has no advantage of it now since you can just 3 tap the head regardless of MH or not. I mean, why would people head-head-body when they can just head-head-head? It just needs a rework to just make it more useful.

2 RepliesAgreed, Luna/NF aren’t bad by any means but I wish they would make Mag Howl proc on headshots again. The sole reason they changed that was because of the ability to 2-tap. Which let’s be honest, doesn’t happen that often. It’s not that frequent of an occurrence to really deserve the nerf imo. It would make them good in pve again as well. The 150 RoF is fine currently too.

I want to buff howl to but it was fricking terrible and I haven’t seen a six stack in quickplay since it’s nerf.Granted I don’t play much pvp anymore.

16 RepliesIts not the bad and still works like it suppose to. The problem you have is that it's rpm was messed with. I'm sorry you can't spam the trigger anymore but get over it. FYI I have it and it still works very well in crucible.

I don’t technically think it’s lingering benefits are too terribly strong for pvp because I’ve rarely been able to proc it and actually hit a 2 tap, but since it’s a 3 tap no matter what as long as you hit the first 2 crits, I don’t think reverting the howl perk would be too bad
