been kicked out a few discords for me not saying destiny 2 is perfect, newsflash it isnt, and along with this video, pretty much the only sane youtuber, say no to rage, on how puzzle raids are not fun, and scourge is just dollar store version of wrath of the machine
granted one of them i did tell an admin to -blam!- off, but he was such a huge fanboy, he called d1 raids too simple, really nibba? puzzle raids aint fun, sit your ass down, you -blam!-ing clown, anyway this is me ranting, you fellow guardian that are hopefully not just bungie defense drones, dont get me wrong i love destiny, but it could be better, also loot still sucks, random ass progression is still pants on head -blam!-, does anyone remeber skeleton keys? faction packages? am i crazy for saying, that d1 progression had its problems, but it was a system that was miles better than or LOL RANDOM, ENJOY YOUR 6TH PAIR OF BOOTS YOU DONT NEED anywhere heres the link, and i look forward to hopefully good discussion replies, and not URRFT DURR NOTHING WRONG W ITH DESTINY 2 I LIKE RANDOM PROGRESSION, PRETIGHE MODE STUFF ISNT HOT GARBAGE COMPARED TO HARD AND CHALLENGE DURRRRRRRRRR

I did every raid in d1 every week . D2 on the other hand haven’t even done one raid . Reason being the raids are to complicated for the rewards . Only weapon I’m I trusted in is thousand voices . So I won’t be raiding in d2 not worth it to me
-
Prefer d1 raids. Across the board, I find them to be much more fun.

D2 raids are far better than D1. Actual mechanics that provide a challenging activity and rewards. D1 raids were way too easy and most of the times it was just a snoozefest. If you are ranting because you can't complete them then you should just practice and become a better player. Not everything is for everyone in this game. Judging by your other responses, attitude and style of writing, I would say you're just immature and there is also no point providing a discussion in this thread.

D1 raids for the win

2 RepliesEdited by Smough: 6/13/2019 11:44:57 PMI personally like the d2 raids more than the d1 raids. They require more communication and are more difficult, which should be what a raid is, and why kings fall was my favorite d1 raid since it’s arguably the most mechanic heavy of all of them. It makes sense that raids will get more mechanic heavy and difficult over time, if every raid was a VoG or CE then a good majority of the players who actually raid would get bored of them. Raids need to evolve to stay interesting and difficult.

3 RepliesDestiny 2 raids are better and more fun. Mindlessly shooting at ads isn’t fun.

3 Repliesfolks, this is how an entitled baddie looks like

21 RepliesDisagree, D2 with these seasons is up there with age of triumph for me. Neither D2 or D1 is perfect, but I absolutely despise people who shit on D2 but praise D1 like it was a masterpiece. The inclusion of titles, better weapon slot system, better strikes (don’t you dare defend any of the vanilla bullet sponges), exotics like orpheus, raiden flux, OEM, lunafactions, astrocyte verse, etc. D1 was fun, but I am liking D2 more than a lot of my time in D1.

Edited by ghostx78x: 6/14/2019 12:31:13 PMI watch Lono quite a bit as far as Destiny streamers are concerned, and can say confidently he puts on the best stream format but whines too much. I can’t take everything he says as gospel especially when he gets into his “best aspects of raids” schpeel. I have heard him swear up and down that WotM was the best raid because of the mechanics, rewards, prestige, etc... That’s just his opinion.

I think it'd be really cool for Destiny to have more puzzles in the open world to incentivize people to explore, though I don't personally don't really play raids at all so I can't offer anything thoughts there.

VoG - nice and simple, not too complicated, atmosphere and setting felt phenomenal Crota- all in all a pretty good raid, just not long enough and too easy to cheese Kings Fall - a lot more mechanical with jumping puzzles, mixed opinion on it, setting was great Wrath - perfection Leviathan - meh Eater of Worlds - both boss phases are great, everything before is shit however, would be nice if bit longer but only a raid lair Spire of Stars - pretty good I suppose Last Wish - pretty good raid but I can never be arsed with it, just not exciting enough Scourge - don’t really enjoy it Sorrow - haven’t tried it
-
4 RepliesVoG was simple but also their jest raid. Crota was interesting but the boss fight imho is boring. Kings fall was amazing. Wrath was also great. Leviathan is great because of its story line and heavy involvement with the story. Eater is best encounter ever so far imo. The Phase 2 boss. Spire tbh I hate. Last wish is phenomenal. Scourge was also great especially the dps Phase idea. And idk about crown of sorrows yet

8 RepliesLol, don’t stress yourself out. These are the same nuts who got the last forge unlocked for free because it was “too difficult” and then turn around and say puzzles are great gameplay.

5 RepliesD1 raids were wayyy better than D2's boring ass puzzle "raids"

1 ReplyWith the recent split from Activision, I have hopes that this game will pull itself out of the pit that this publisher dug for them. All I'll say is let's wait and hear what they have to say about Shadowkeep when they start releasing more info. I feel the exact same way as you do but I'll continue playing if I have friends that want to play as well.

This is my personal preference but I love multiple levels and multiple waves of enemies. If raids were designed to feel more like descending into dungeons or progressing through behind enermy lines, where the deeper/further you go, the more difficult and dangerous enemies you encounter, ultimately encountering the final boss. The final boss should incorporate all the previous enemies you fought along with environmental traps/dangers, another words the players need to know that this isnt some standard boss with a stupid AI, it wants you dead period! -between certain levels there should few (with a strong emphases on few!) puzzles to solve. Also these puzzles shouldn't be complicated where you have to watch videos on youtube just to know how to solve them. Im not saying they should be blatantly obvious but things like killing certain enemies within a given amount of time to unlock doors, or killing enemies quickly because the longer you drag on this fight the harder everything becomes and next thing you know you cant progress because so many enemies flooded the area that you are now blocked. I love things like this more than solving a rubix cube to progress through the next area. To be fair though whether you are killing multiple waves of enemies, or solving puzzles both of them will feel repetitive. So maybe in the next season, there will be some new raids with new and improved ways to complete them. -At the end of the raid, it should feel like an adrenaline rush and a sense of accomplishment along with a sense of pride in teamwork.

3 RepliesHey bud can you like punch a wall instead of venting on a public forum? D2 raids are basically the same as D1. They all vary in mehcanics and combat and some are harder and some arent. You aren't looking for discussion or replies. Just stop.
