I wanna know how much Bungie is paying them.....
Every single D2 streamer/Youtuber is shilling hard for this dumpster fire.
They try to make it seem like we're getting another Forsaken, when in reality, little is changing.
I've unsubbed to nearly every Youtube channel covering D2. They're paid pitchmen to get you hyped for Opulence and that's all.

For every one who doubts that this is possible, EA paid a whole bunch of Youtubers to promote Anthem through their EA gamechangers program. Directly paying content creators(influencers as they're referred to) is a thing. Its how Anthem was promoted and why Apex Legends became an overnight sensation.
People attempting to deny this reality is either in denial or completely delusional. For the past couple months, every Destiny Youtuber has been trashing D2 for the nerfs, recycled content, bad leveling, duplicates, bad RNG, no new PvP maps etc. Now they've all done a complete 180 and are trying to hype this crap.
Even more proof today.......Datto hosting the Q&A on the twab, lol. Pull your head outta the sand, pull off the rose tinted glasses, whatever you have to do. Streamer= paid spokesperson.

The problem with D2 before the summit was that the content was soooooo old that the streamers/youtubers couldn't make anymore content on old crap and they where losing money. They will take anything new.

I don't know about being paid unless you mean the gifts Bungie spoils them with. I was laughing my butt off when Datto did that 180 right after the Community summit and way overhyped Warmind. Streamers are the CHEAPEST cost of advertisement that money can buy. Give them a few toys and they'll lie about your product all day long.

Aztecross is the only one I watch because he is entertaining . Doesn't talk out of his ass and calls bungie out when they do stupid things. And he is actually good at the game. Datto is a bungie blow hard and will eat their shit, drink their piss and call it surf and turf Xhoundish and messa Sean just make up bullshit and speculate on false news Dpj makes me want to jump off a bridge than hear his voice for 30 seconds and Rrrrrrrrrrrrick khaaaaaaaaaakis requires you to speed up his 13 minuite videos to sound like a normal person

I don't really watch streamers/youtubers other than Datto, and he seems like the least biased person you can find. Every video of his talking about Destiny 2 gives an educated response to changes and content drops, good and bad.

1 ReplyDestiny viewership on Twitch is at an all time low and has been for a while. I don't think Bungie is paying anyone to market this game or they are seriously wasting their money. I don't think Destiny has even cracked the top 100 on Twitch this year.

Nah, the simple truth is... streamer's livelihood is about the game. If people don't care about the game, they damn sure don't care about the streamer. A d2 streamer hyping the game, is a streamer hyping themselves.
