Orbs of Light increase blast radius and damage.

Hipfired precision shots give a massive draw-speed bonus.
SEASON 7 EXOTIC QUESTS
TRUTH EXOTIC ROCKET LAUNCHER
(Destiny 1 perk) Rockets fired from Truth target and seek its targets very aggressively, as well as detonate when they are in close proximity to the target.
ROSE/ LUMINA EXOTIC HAND CANNON
(Predicted perk) Precision shots on an enemy returns a portion of your health based on the damage you did to them.
(Predicted perk) Precision shots on an ally returns a portion of their health.

1 ReplySo the Gambit bow perk is effectively the bow version of Outlaw. But more conditional. I haven't played a round of Gambit since I earned my Breakneck. I think that trend will continue.

3 RepliesOn paper, the pinnacle weapons sound like an easy skip. If Truth is the one-in-the-pipe nerfed version, it will also be less appealing. PLUS, yeah, if it works too well or dominates Gambit/PVP look for the tracking to get a nerf. Rose/Lumina will be worth collecting just for the Lore, but will have to wait and see what it does to see if it's worth it for the weapon itself. So far the Season of Opulence fits in nicely with the rest of the Season Pass; underwhelming.

Massively disappointed with next season pinacle weapons. I will just finish Delirium 21 quest and be done. Trush with just one rocket is a joke so if the trend continues....unless that rocket is truly amazing.

The grenade launcher had better have decent damage and radius for what I'm expecting to be a heavy weapon otherwise it'll be another Oxygen in regards to how good it is. A bow that revolves around hip fire precision hits? Let's be real here, how many people hip fire in this game, effectively might I add, especially on console? Unless it's got prenerf QB hit box and that perk cuts draw time in half I don't see anyone using it. If you can consistently land hip fire shots I guess it might be useful, but if you can consistently land those head shots while hip firing you're better off with TLW. None of these weapons sound like they're worth the grind. Truth. Why? Of all the weapons they could have brought back they chose this? Wardcliff exists! It may not be as good at med-long range, but it's still practically impossible to miss with when you do use it, especially with its bs tracking and maxed velocity which doesn't need either because it fires a barrage of rockets! Rose/ Lumina. I want it, it looks beautiful and I'm really hoping we FINALLY meet Shin and the Shadows. The IB quest I'll probably do so long as it doesn't ask for an insanely long/ difficult grind like NF or Redrix. Unless they're random drops this is probably where we'll get Hawkmoon or Darkdrinker.

Sniper and Bow are gonna be sick! GL, not so much but I guess I'll get it eventually. I barely got Luna's Howl and Recluse last week, and also Oxygen. I'll probably get the bow and 21% delirium next season at around the same time I was hoping for a crucible sniper Pinnacle And it has ambush. Let's hope for good handling and snapshot/quickdraw

The grenade launcher could be super gimmicky by the sound of it. Could be one of those guns that's bad 90% of the time but hilariously OP when you set it up properly.

Oh dear. The only pinnacle weapon that sounds good is the sniper...and I'm not about to subject myself to the comp play list trying to hunt it down. Who in the world thought the bow was a good idea??

5 RepliesI will definitely not be working towards any of those pinnacle weapons. The Crucible one is a no go because Comp. Why else? The GL is too situational, and frankly sounds unimaginative and boring. The Bow, just too many other bows in the game that I already dont use to grind Gambit for another one I wont use. Not really a hip fire kind of person anyway. I'm starting to see this as my soft stopping point in the game. Season of the Drifter didnt look interesting at first, but I found a few fun things to do, but so far Opulence looks even less interesting than Drifter did.
