What was the stock response from every Luna's user whenever someone complained about that weapon and said it's a crutch? "Other weapons are just as good. You just need to adapt and git gud. It's not a crutch, I do just as well with a Trust" So now what happens when there's a nerf incoming?
"You can't do this! If I can't use Luna's I'll quit!" What's wrong? Aren't those other weapons just as good? You can't adapt? You've still got that Trust you're just as good with, don't ya?
And I know, I know. The excuse is "Well I put in a lot of time to get it and I feel like my time is being wasted now!" That's a load of crap. Luna's has been THE crucible gun for far longer than any other weapon. And what about those people who put in all the time to earn The Mountaintop or Recluse but can't even use it because Luna's is still by far the best option? Their time is just as important.
So which is it folks? Is Luna's a crutch you just can't live without? Or are those other guns actually just as good and now you can start using Ace or Trust?

2 RepliesMy input; I have luna, I'm nowhere good enough to get not forgotten, so I'll stick to what I know. Luna is a very good primary, however it does have limited range, so you need to choose your battles. On larger maps trying to duel someone with a pulse or a scout is suicide. My concern is that luna could become prone to ghost bullets / bloom like all other 150rpm gand cannons. Because of its low range stat, there is a real danger it will become complete garbage. This is all based on console, which is where luna / NF are a problem. On pc, Ace and last word are top dogs because bloom is not an issue. I would have preferred bloom be removed from console ages ago, and then see what adjustments needed to be made. Something needed to be done about these guns in console... I just don't think this will solve the problem. With 180rpms we finally had hand cannons that were nice to use. And I'm sceptical that once these changes have been made, the pinnacle weapons will be no longer used, which will open up everyone complaining about God roll service revolvers. I hope I'm wrong, I hope luna remains good. Only time will tell.
