Good evening everybody! This is Aifis coming to you alive from Charles’ Xavier’s school for the specially gifted!
. . .
That’s what it’s called, right Papika?
Papika: “I have no idea. Where is this?”
Nevermind!
So, I used to watch this TV show called Wolverine & the X-Men, and y’know, I really love the X-Men, but I’ve never watched the live action movies. I think my dad owns them, so I was thinking of asking him if I could borrow them, but I’m worried about one thing;
The level of violence.
Now, I don’t mind seeing people die on screen, but I don’t like being aboe to see people’s insides, dismemberment, etc. Y’know, just super graphic stuff. I don’t want to see that.
Tl;dr? Here’s my point!
So, my question is pretty self explanatory; how graphic are the movies.
Oh, and side question, how many are there?
Thanks in advance!

6 RepliesLogan is the only graphic one.
-
2 RepliesThe most graphic ones are Logan And the Trilogy. Read at your own risk.
The first two aren't that bad but the first there a part where a little boy grows wings and takes a razor and knives and chops em off.
-
2 RepliesAs someone who loves xmen, and hates gore. I'd recommend First Class, The new pg 13 Deadpool, and maybe the first one of the Trilogy. Stay away from the 2nd and 3rd. Btw, in First Class, Mystiche is pretty sexy.
-
1 ReplyAll of them are PG-13 except Logan, which is R
-
2 RepliesPretty tame to mild. They're only PG-13 so it's more of a emphasis on action than just straight violence.
-
1 ReplyHonestly I don’t remember anything from them except for a scene involving a quarter and a skull
-
Great movies, and no graphic body violence. No worse then cartoons, but a way better story and action.
-
1 ReplyWas thinking about the movies today and I remembered that for the first two or three movies Wolverine has flashbacks to the experiments that gave him the metal skeleton. They're kind of intense, but not graphic graphic like you were describing. Still, thought I'd mention that cause I don't think anyone else did
-
It is all good, until Wolverine cuts the Blob open and we Beast's grandma inside of Blob showering......nood......
-
1 ReplySee I want to say Logan is too violent, but it's the best one in my opinion.
-
1 ReplyRegardless of how graphic the first batch is, avoid watching them at all costs. You're not missing out on anything, they are terrible (I'm talking about X-Men, X2, Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and maybe even The Wolverine). Start with X-Men First Class and move forward from there. Logan is the only one that could be considered graphic, but it's also the best X-Men/Wolverine movie they've made. It's one of the only, if not the only, X-Men related movies that is rated R other than Deadpool and 2 if you want to count those.
-
X-Men 1-3 are fine, nothing too crazy. Typical PG-13. X-Men: Origins is a little more violent and there is a deputation at the end, but no blood. The Wolverine is a little more violent and such, but still not too bad. Avoid Logan and Deadpool 1&2. First Class, Days of Future Past and Apocalypse are all typical PG-13 from what I remember. There are 11 movies if I counted correctly and didn't forget about any.
-
Stay away from Logan and Deadpool 1/2, since they’re real gory
-
1 ReplyAvoid Logan and Deadpool everything else is fine
-
1 ReplyI think as long as you avoid Logan and the two Deadpool movies, you should be fine.
-
1 ReplyIf you like blue skin and indistinct boobs, its good.
-
Yeah, but Professor X has an orgasm when Magneto turns evil
-
1 ReplyI don’t think THAT much. Like, I watch them, how bad can it be
-
2 RepliesNot very. Logan is pretty brutal though, you might want to keep away from it.
P.S. : If you liked Wolverine and the X-Men, you should try getting your hands on a DVD edition of the X-Men Animated Series. Probably my favorite thing to watch growing up
-
Not particularly violent other than the standard action movie stuff you see in most super hero movies. I hear Logan is a bit more brutal, but have yet to see it.
-
9 RepliesThe first ones are pretty cool, but not first class, it's pretty graphic. And also X-3 is kinda more, it I remember correctly, it's been a while
-
1 ReplyPretty tame. There’s violence - but it’s not graphic blood and guts violence. Just standard super hero movie stuff.
-
7 RepliesEdited by RingLeader77: 4/19/2019 12:53:31 AMThey're normal as far as super hero movies go so you should be good. The wolverine movies do get violent I've heard but I never was interested enough to see them in the first place. There's 3 that are part of a "original" trilogy. Then 3 more in the "past" loosely but DO NOT watch them first. I haven't seen the third in the "prequels" yet, but 1 and 2 of those are pretty tame, especially if you're just looking to avoid her overt violence Edit: and there are at least three of the Wolverine movies
-
3 RepliesThe x-men movies have been a conglomerate of confusing timelines and a worthless attempt to combine two canons with a very complicated string instead of just using the words "prequels" since days of future past. The only good movies are the OG 3, origins: wolverine and first class
-
2 RepliesAs long as you stay away from Logan & the Deadpool movies you should be fine.
Most violent scene in the X-Men movies would probably be in First Class, where someone gets a coin through their head, but even there it is relatively tame.
-
1 ReplyOther than Logan, they're fine. I'm a parent, and I'd let my children watch them.
