Revelry in pvp
So the pvp community has, among other things, been complaining about super spam. With revelry ALL crucible modes become even more nade spam/ super spam heavy. The buffs are even active in a supposedly "serious" mode such as competitive. To be honest I have no words. I understand that revelry was probably ready for sometime now and its not easy to make last minute changes BUT the feedback from pvp community is also ages old and to be frank lately pvp has been mostly neglected. We have had the spectral blades/ shotgun/ luna/ coil meta for the last 6 months and literally nothing has been done. The revelry only excacerbates this feeling of neglection. I am super disappointed with the implementation of the event in pvp. Making all crucible modes into a semi- mayhem mode? Even comp? Turning it off in comp is the least that could be done. Realy super disappointed it has come to this.

2 RepliesGreat concept, poor delivery. The weekly playlist should have been Revelry specific so that it can be enjoyed without possibly screwing over those who don't want to deal with six-stacks of hunters spamming Skip grenades.

Even normal QP is completely broken with the buff to arc web. They also seem to have forgotten about shinobu's vow. Seriously though this is NOT what pvp needed

The revelry event trashes PvP, is well said. This tonic is just so frustrating and stupid in PvP and needs to be removed. Geez how I long for a no super, no heavy PvP mode...

Yeah. I think it’s dumb. For the life of me I can’t figure out why on earth Bungie thinks constant nade spam is a fun way to play PvP. We already have it in crimson doubles and mayhem. And now we have it in quickplay for two weeks. Gg, Bungie.

2 RepliesI try so hard to enjoy this game’s pvp and recently I have actually been liking it, but this has just made me hate it again. Crucible is essentially unplayable now unless you somehow find enjoyment in throwing a grenade every 2 seconds. I have no idea what bungie was thinking putting this in comp, and quickplay isn’t much better. This is the worst crucible has been since prometheus lens.

I wanna try and still take advantage but I know skip, firebolt, pulse, axion and arcbolt grenades are gonna be very prominent. But this addition kinda makes me take a step back. The worse part is that there is a chance they won’t take the buff out of comp
