I swear to God the thought's that go through your head when you finally get the Thorn and hop into the crucible, only to find yourself getting consistently gunned down by the IKELOS HC. Sad thoughts. Do something Bungie, your PvP scene is in ruins. This is the case on console at least, and it's to the point where you cannot compete competitively unless you're using Luna's, NF or another god roll 180.

If bloom wasn’t a thing 140s and 150s would be much better
-
4 Replies180 rpms should never have been added to this game.
-
1 ReplyOr instead of being cancerous you could just fix the recoil on 150’s and 140s instead of breaking the 180s but I guess it’s easier to break stuff than fix.
-
Wait till I finish using ikelos to get thorn though please.
-
2 RepliesSo you figured bungie would rather nerf 180s than fix 150,140,110?
-
3 RepliesIts kinda sad how people are going nuts over Service Revolver. Any 180rpm handcannon thats introduced immediately gets put up on a pedestal simply for its archetype.
-
Thorn is good for me. Just take peek shots and aim for the head
-
7 RepliesEdited by ReGoober: 3/26/2019 3:38:53 PM150s like thorn have a faster time to kill than 180s you just have to actually hit headshots
-
I hope they don't blanket nerf 180's because they're fairly weak on PC already. Luna's Howl is probably the worst pinnacle weapon and gets dominated by Ace and TLW both in and outside of its range.
-
180 handcannons are too easy to use. There's no need to pace your shots due to the recoil being so low, along with the aim assist being so high. Any other archetype of handcannon would be outclassed whilst fighting against a 180 in an open field. I find 180 handcannons to be quite annoying, because almost everyone uses them, Luna's and NF especially.

5 RepliesEdited by Unstoppable_Screeb: 3/26/2019 12:29:07 AMYou say that as if the IKELOS HC is rubbish! That thing is a slayer of guardians pure and simple, beast of a gun!
-
7 RepliesStandard 180s are fine having a 2 crit and 2 body with a ttk of 1 sec, good recoil direction is the only thing going for them.
-
180's are annoying.

13 RepliesJust came back to the game. Been gone since laser tag. Won 3/4 matches so far with an average kda of around 4. Using a blue scout and alternating snipe/shotty with a sword. Have seen no problems aside from the range on shotguns. And yes, I've already played sweaties.
-
9 Replies180s need to be 4 shot kill minimum cause of their lack of recoil and high fire rate. 150 or whatever they are need to be 2 head 1 body
-
6 Replieshttps://www.xboxclips.com/RUSSIAN2URDEATH/c9c263a4-d428-4faf-b8f3-1cc6f63f3ec3 Thorn is fine. You just can’t use it like a 180 and expect it to perform well
-
8 Replies💯 thorn in sadly underwhelming 😢😢
-
Aim the gun your embarrassing yourself
-
bungioe now as the rains and they have said numerous times PvP is an after thought.
-
I’ve never really tried comp until this season because the recluse looks cool. The match making must be based on season because everyone seems to have Luna’s or not forgotten in the matches I’ve been in. Me over here being below average getting melted lol
-
1 ReplyYeah, its tough to compete if you cant adapt. I can adapt to the playing style so I dont have as much of a problem. Can you stand back further and use range as an ally?
-
7 RepliesI have success with using Thorn. Try not to be aggressive; hang back and tag your opponent a few times in the dome. Let the venom drag their health down so you can tap 'em again when they're weak. Don't try to go toe-to-toe with a 180 HC in an open area unless you have fantastic Mobility and thumb skills.

I’m not even on console (I was) but I can agree. Other weapons have a hard time competing. The wonky recoil of other handcannons, the bloom and Thanos in butthole PoV don’t help. Either they buff other handcannons or weapons or possibly tone down 180s as a whole.
