You have 4/5 playlists with sbmm.
Sorry but not every playlist will pander to your incompetence.
You want to only face your peers? You've got that option, you sure as hell wont be taking our only non-option.
Now as for the last word quest it being at 1% is 100% on you.
This is a quest in which you never even have to get a kill. 50 assists will finish it.
That means if you stay behind teammates and avoid death while tagging people with body shots you can finish it, in fact you get 2 points per assist or kill and only lose 1 per death.
You're either running into the enemy and trying to secure kills or not paying any attention to your deaths
You get 1 point for assist.
Wrong
You don't get matched by skill. That is a lie. You get matched by valor, which can be reset.
Depends what playlist. Rumble Banner Rotational All match you via skill Competitive Matches you by Glory rank - which CANNOT be reset aside from when a new season launches and auto resets everyone Quickplay Is the only playlist skill is not factored - exactly as intended of a social or non-ranked playlist.
-
I highly doubt rumble matches players with equal skill. It’s usually 2 or 3 players with equal skill and the rest can’t even compete.

Edited by Haunter: 2/25/2019 7:00:46 AMRumble is sbmm, in fact all playlists for d2 were until quickplay was changed to 6vs6 which broke it for that playlist alone. Everything else remained with sbmm Note that bungies sbmm however has always been pretty bad and sbmm cannot always get every equal player
-
Rumble is not SBMM - if they say it is then their measure of ‘skill’ is broken and not averaged over enough games to get a real measure. I went from averaging 3rd to getting a few wins to then getting stomped by people clearly in a different league (don’t even need to say what weapons they were running as everyone knows) and this continued for about 8 matches, the ‘skill’ measure still thinking I was in their league even though I was posting sub 0.6 K/Ds. Bungie need to look at the matchmaking and provide a community update on what they are doing as the current state is simply not sustainable for many and is actively discouraging people from playing.

Rubble definitely has sbmm, you can question how accurate it is or how long it should wait to find × skill bracket before widening the search but every playlist besides qp has had besides comp which uses rank based
-
Oh, well yeah as you say bungie’s sbmm must be terrible if it is even there. I have yet to find a game where most of the players were of equal skill. It’s usually just one team steamrolling the other. Although, I thought bungie said they took out sbmm a while back? Unless they put a poor excuse for it back in.
-
Only took it out of qp, other playlists still have bungie form of it

Well, I stand corrected, thank you for letting me know. I was led to believe different. My apologies.
