So I wrote her a little poem. My idea was, in the world of destiny, maybe its a rhyme kids say to each other.
I thought folks here might enjoy it.
Cabal are turtles full of spite
the taken are both black and white
and hive have worms that make them fight.
Vex shine with copper form
Fallen are from ether born
the Scorn are Fallen much deformed.
Darkness knows to fear the light
Guardians shake it with their might
A city beneath the traveler falls
Protects the people with its walls
but this I'll tell you no one knows
the deep from sharp angles flows.

Roses are red Til' their petals do fall Wether we like it or not We've entered into a war with the Cabal
-
The fallen are space bugs full of guile. The Scorn are fallen after the green mile. The Hive are crusty and look real gross. The taken are like hive but are spooky ghosts. The Vex are robots with an angry red eye. The Cabal are pigs that like to fly.

20 RepliesMy wife can't tell the difference between me and my best friend it would seem.

2 RepliesYeah... "your wife." I love these bullshit posts on EVERYTHING lately, Reddit, FB, here, wherever. "My mom/wife/sister/daughters feelings were hurt/she's shy/embarrassed/etc and I would please like some karma/upvotes/whatever on their behalf. This poem doesn't even tell someone who doesn't know the game who is who. It's just a poem you wrote for Destiny. That would be at least kind of cool on it's own. Now you've ruined it and made it cringe and embarrassing. Downvoted for the bullshit. But in truth, I like the poem.

1 ReplyLet me tell you about the Destiny lore Vex are robots with a milky organic core Rezyll Azzir fell to the darkness becoming Dredgen Yor Ghaul became ruler of the Cabal but wanted more Fallen are called Eliksni in their native tongue Dwelling in caves where their house banners were hung Taeko-3 gave her life to stop Savathûn's song Ikora was Osiris' student when she was young The lore of Destiny may seem hard It wasn't really in the main game from the start But you'll find it on a grimoire card Or told to you by the traveler's shard
