(Continuing off of Part 7 back with Saitonia VS BatPug74) BatPug74: *picks up Sai from the debree and tosses him across the street*. "Draw your weapon! I don't want to end this too quickly now!" Saitonia: *recovers to his feet*. "Tsk! Damn brute." (Saitonia shoots out a large beam of dark energy from his hand towards BatPug74, destroying everything in its path. BatPug grabs his scythe and spins it around in front of him, deflecting the energy beam back at Saitonia. As Saitonia is hit by the beam he gets propelled back with tremendous force, allowing Nexus to jump in and strike him in the back of the head with his knee, midair.) Saitonia: *unconscious*. "....." Nexus: *picks up Sai from his cloak*. "Unlucky." (False and Nate arrive just in time to stop Nexus from killing Sai, hitting him with an electrical box) False: *recovers Sai*. "The back of his head is badly bruised, he might have a brain bleed." King Nate: *levitating rocks*. "Just get him healed." Nexus: *recovers from the shock*. "Well then, more pawns for the slaughter." King Nate: "there won't be a slaughter!" BatPug74: *walks up near Nexus and changes his scythe into a sniper rifle*. "We are born directly from Armityle. Nothing can compare to our strength." King Nate: *nervous*. "....." Nexus: *draws his axe*. "Ready?" King Nate: *chuckles*. "Always." (Nate pulls up the ground from underneath Nexus and Bat, changing all the pebbles to needles and shooting them at both enemies) BatPug74: *dodges the needles and hangs back with his sniper*. (Nexus charges straight through the rocks, breaking everything in his path. He then throws his axe towards Nate which detonates as it flies near him, exploding shrapnel into the side of Nate's body) King Nate: *falls to his knees*. "Argh!" Nexus: *summons his axe back to his hands*. "I see weakness. Time to become nothing!" (Nate pulls all the metal wires from the ground and wraps them around Nexus, trapping him.) BatPug74: *sniper position, aimed at Nate*. "........now." (BatPug has a clear shot and fires a large round from his rifle, hitting Nate directly in the face) King Nate: *struggling to stay awake*. "No...." Nexus: *breaks out of the wires with brute strength and walks up to Nate*. "Did you think that would hold me?" King Nate: *blood covering his eyes*. "Heh, clearly not." False: *finishes healing Sai and turns to Nate's location*. "Nate!" (Nexus grips his axe tightly and strikes Nate in the face repeatedly, kicking his body to the ground after killing him) Nexus: *wipes the blood from his axe*. "Definitely not a clean job." (BatPug changes back to scythe mode and regroups with Nexus) BatPug: *staring towards False*. "...." False: "crap!" Saitonia: *gets up and throws False far behind him*. "....." BatPug: "well! Finally decided to show up?" Saitonia: *draws his sword*. "....." Nexus: *looking at BatPug*. "We were told to kill that one. Let's not disappoint." BatPug: "right. It's either him, or both of us." (King Nate has fallen.) ------------------------------------------------------- (Back with the main group who are fighting against NIL, Ludwig and ThreaT) Darth Turtle: *activates his divine armor*. "Don't worry guys, I know exactly who I'm going for." Disciple: "who?? Don't do anything stupid Turtle!" (Turtle charges towards NIL, hitting her with a giant fist from his ancient armor, smashing her into the side of a building) Darth Turtle: *jumps over to NIL*. Ludwig: *impressed*. "Not bad!" Disciple: *speaking to Ludwig*. "You're getting separated from your allies." Ludwig: "ha! I've still got one, wherever he is. It's hard to see him with all the fog." (Disciple grabs his shield off his back and runs at Ludwig) Disciple: "I'm tired of hearing you speak! Die already!" Snowy: "Disciple!" (Disciple swings his shield around at Ludwig, creating small bursts of shockwaves after each swing.) Ludwig: *ducks under Disciple and kicks him in the stomach*. "C'mon now, there's no need to get violent!" (Disciple quickly recovers from the kick and draws his sword, aggressively swinging at Ludwig) HammerFist: *calls down a NorthStar mech*. "Disciple is really acting odd." (Hammer and Adidas both charge towards Ludwig to help Disciple, unloading barrages of rockets at Ludwig.) Ludwig: *can't dodge all the rockets and gets hit*. "Ugh!" (Ludwig slides across the ground and draws his sword, shooting out a slash of moonlight energy at Hammer's mech, blowing it up instantly) HammerFist: *injured from the blast*. "Artemis! I need healing!" Artemis: "I've got you!" (Artemis recovers Hammer, leaving Disciple and Adidas to fight Ludwig) Ludwig: *snaps his fingers*. "Just to make sure it's only us." (As Ludwig snaps his fingers, TheThreaT appears in front of the others, blocking them from helping Disciple and Adidas) Disciple: *irritable*. "Is this some sick game to you!" Adidas: "calm down Disciple." Ludwig: "yes, it's always been a game to me. We all are just pawns" Disciple: "no! I refuse to believe that nonsense." (Disciple throws his shield at Ludwig, hitting him in the chest.) Ludwig: *knocked back*. "Perhaps some pain will do you well....." (Disciple runs towards Ludwig and tries to stab him with his sword. Ludwig dodges under Disciple's arm and snaps it, breaking his arm) Disciple: *drops his sword*. "Gah!" Ludwig: *grabs Disciple by the neck and points at Adidas*. "Don't move! Or he dies here." Adidas: *not moving*. "What's your plan?" Disciple: *in severe pain from his arm*. "Let me go...." Ludwig: *draws a green knife from his back pocket*. "You will come to realize the true nature of this world through pain and suffering. I've been here thousands of years, it's all this place ever gives." (Ludwig stabs Disciple in his right eye and throws him on the ground, leaving the knife in his eye) Disciple: *writhing in pain*. "....." Adidas: *still not moving*. "What the hell dude?!" Ludwig: *looking at Disciple*. "Hold your friends close. Before you know it, the end will be right before you." (Ludwig disappears into a green flash) Adidas: *runs up to Disciple*. "My god, are you alright?" Disciple: "do I look alright?!" (Adidas turns over to the others and notices the enemy made of smoke is gone) Adidas: "don't worry, I'll get you to Artemis." (Adidas brings Disciple over to Artemis) Artemis: *patching Disciple up as best she can*. "This is tough....." Snowy: *eyes closed*. "....." Adidas: *looking around*. "Any sign of the others?" Loot Crate: *shakes his head*. "No. We better go look for them." Davy: "they could still be in combat, we better hurry." (End of Part 8)
