Bungie stop nerfing Exotics out of existence, bring others up in line with them so we have more choices.

STOP! All I'm trying to say is I believe we all want more good weapons to choose from. Bring other guns up, why can't we have 30 choices instead if 3? Why is there no Pvp balance then a Pve gun balance why does one nerf effect both areas You have at some point nerfed Mida lost hidden high cal. rounds, Scouts not on purpose then fixed them buffed only 150s yet all scouts still suck, Whisper box breathing to whisper breathing but got a base damage hit that scales to adds, Sleeper aim assist hit everywhere, gambit ammo hit, Ep Shotty trench barrel perk changed to 3 shots not gun breakung but highly annoying, Pro Lens so broke when it came out bungie had sell it from xur before adjusting it so everybody would have it for trials n pvp, 1k voices damage decrease on pc should of just buffed console and now who really knows what will really happen to Telesto. These changes impact console way more than PC ( What's next Wavesplitter and Queens breaker or the over powered Lunas howl which most players worked so hard to get. Which only a small portion of community own because they got it in comp and no longer play comp so they make quick play intollerable for lower quality pvpers who soon will complain in mass. Please don't. ) P.s. bows suck in Gambit all of you players using them in there please stop.

  • Honestly, most exotics in the game are in need of buffs rather than nerfs. Half if not 3/4 of the kinetic weapons are not good. Most of the exotic armor is either really specific or does very little to help you. I’d say that a nerf is required here and there, but bring better options up too.

    Yeah it’s a shame that 9/10 exotics will be nerfed before 90% of players get to experience them. The annoying thing is bungie make and test these before release so they originally come how bungie intended but then the “but that’s not balanced in pvp” crybabies come along and ruin destiny’s sandbox [b][i][u]AGAIN[/u][/i][/b]!

        V-Wing never got nerfed. Sleeper received a 3 round magazine with 15 total ammo to compensate for a slight decrease in base damage. Telesto is getting a PVE buff, the nerf is exclusive for PvP. Read the patch notes instead of talking out of your ass more often and you wouldn’t have such blatantly wrong information. Sleeper, Whisper, and Telesto, EP Shotty, and the rest are all still relevant. Maybe scouts suck, and maybe some guns can use buffing. But the fact of the matter is most of what you said was bs. Sleeper simulant is still great for rapid DPS, especially when bosses (like the Izanami Forge one) have a wall behind them for the laser to ricochet off of. Whisper is still the uncontested king for extended damage phases, and EP shotty is still the best for CQC dps. Threat Level is the same, but better. If you think otherwise, you’re statistically incorrect.

          • Your post script sucks, actually. I run wish ender (just got Monarque as well - and as soon as Threat Level is out will be using that bow in its place) and always am on top of add kills and STILL manage to do better Primeval damage than people running Thunderlords/Sleepers/etc. Maybe learn to make every arrow count for a precision shot lmao.

            • I hate that one eyed mask is getting nerfed thanks to PVP. My friend says it’s a really good PvE exotic. Lots of shit is getting nerfed thanks to PvP this affecting PvE :(

                So I'm going to go over everything you said was Nerfed (in PVE). Mida, high cal rounds was nerfed in the amount of flinch it caused against Gardians thats it. The gun was never/rarely used in PvE and ways. all Scouts, this was an exclusive nerf to PvE there was no buff to scouts in PVP. Spindle, nothing was nerfed about spindle ever Sleeper, do you mean in gambit? It needed to be nerfed there due to its complete dominance this was a balance decision made by Bungie not those who were playing crucible. Ikeloes, this wasnt to do with PvP, it is extremely difficult to proc trench barel and profit off of it. Shotty n Sniper Lens, this wasnt a PvP thing exclusively. It would have broken PvP but if you have ever used lens it's still really good for add clear having infinite ammo would make it abit much. V wing, nothing was ever nerfed about this gun it just faded out of revelency 1k voices, this was a pay to win thing and again only applied to PvE it already would kill really quick in PvP and no one wanted it nerfed. Telesto, this is only a 2% damage nerf not noticable in most if not all activities. You need to give better examples the only semi legitimate one was lens and even then it wasnt a good example.

                • They should do more to make more guns viable in both PvP and PvE without nerfing/toning down anything. If anything, everything else needs a buff to compete with the current meta, which will also hopefully help in making them more viable for PvE.

                  • Honestly I feel like it’s more than just a “small portion” of players who have Luna’s because there’s plenty of idiots who decided it was okay to pay a skilled player to get the gun for them, and now we’ve got people with Luna’s that never earned it. Now Not Forgotten...that is what I would call a small portion of the playerbase.

                    • Spindle (Whisper) in D2 is even better than Spindle. Sleeper is still great. The 1k Voices nerf was stupid, the damage should've been buffed on console. V Wing wasn't nerfed

                      • How was Whispered Breathing nerfed? They changed it to Whispered Breathing because they were going to nerf Box Breathing as a perk. Whispered Breathing still works the same as original Box Breathing.

                        we as gamers finally had it in rise of the iron on destiny , but bungie went all ham on every one . now there putting a sheep skin over are eyes . on destiny 1 there only 2 issues , no land beyond and hand cannon , but at least if we built a character we had counters . not all main stream or youtube . but there were alot them out there . we did not have enough counter weapons , or armor at that point hope bungie drop 3 or 4 counter items .

                        Nerfs have to happen just as much as buffing. I will agree on the front that Bungie needs to seriously be smarter with their nerfing though and needs to consistently use Crucible labs to test buffs and nerfs and get community feedback on things both on here and in game. They need to take a play from Rainbow Six Siege's book on this front. What they do is ship everything super powerful and then through community play testing and feedback make the appropriate nerfs to balance things out while retaining their potency.

                            • With as rare as they made them, exotics need to be exotic. More powerful than a comparable legendary, regardless of the perks. That's the whole point of being only able to equip one, you make a strategic choice in where you want the best weapon to be. Why can I not equip Malfeasance and Lord of Wolves when Luna and EP shotgun are better? (yeah, I someone out there has a different opinion but from usage I'd say that's the norm) Also, I tried Le Monarque in gambit for a match. OMG it sucks, eating up that slot for the quick EP shotgun clearing power is not worth it.

                              This has been a problem going all the way back to season 1 of D1. It started with the nerf of the Suros ( which nerfed all autos until the yr 3 Trials...Doctrine of Passing, in turn got nerfed also), followed by the nerf of the Mythoclast. If you looked at all the metas in crucible ( outside of Mida and the Last Word before its nerf ) it was all legendary pulse rifles and handcannons that lasted the longest. Every archetype of gun was nerfed in D1 at some point due to crucible players. They nerfed slow firing pulses, which made fast firing pulses a meta for a while...nerfed them too and we finished D1 with the handcannon meta ...Eysaluna and crucible handcannon ( the name slips my mind atm ) As you can see not much has changed. Crazy as it will sound...remember the Sidearm meta in D1 ? That's how bad the nerfing of all weapons were by Bungie to compensate crucible.
