3 RepliesI thought it was decent. Word to the wise, you can feed on (and kill) just about every named character in the game for a LARGE chunk of easy experience (the more you know about them the more you get), doing this has consequences that effect the story. Have fun if you decide to get it

Pretty sure there is a before you buy video on you tube check it out

2 RepliesDon't know anything about Vampyr but had to comment because I noticed Dear Leader Jim Pickens posted this.

1 ReplyIt has a LOT of dialogue. Probably more than The Witcher 3.

I liked it a lot. The combat isn’t anything to write home about, but the character interaction and story are pretty special.

2 RepliesDepends. It’s not a combat focused game, and while the combat is fun enough, don’t go in expecting a lot of depth on that front. It’s kinda like a more simplified Bloodborne. I liked most of the main story, but the ending was pretty unsatisfying. I’m not going to spoil it, but once you get past a certain point it gets a little dumb. But the real strong suite of the game are the civilian interactions. Each one’s super fleshed out, and learning each of their stories was really fun. Of course, this is also where the choice of who to let live, and who to kill comes in. You can kill any civilian for a big boost in XP, and the more you know about them, the more XP you get. I wish the game was a but harder, so that temptation to kill someone to proceed was stronger, but it serves as a great metaphor for blood lust. I absolutely loved it, but I can say with certainty it’s not for everyone.
