Exotic rng is bugged
Well over half (probably 13/15 total since I do have wavesplitter and one-eye) of my random exotic drops since I have gotten forsaken are still year 1 exotics I already have. Wasn't this supposed to be "fixed" already to favor unacquired, year 2 exotics? Because the exact opposite is happening. It is weighted towards year 1 duplicates.

Either say the exotic weighting was a lie and nothing was changed, or say that there is in fact something wrong and it's being addressed with a deployment date. That's all that needs to be done. Not a hard concept. There is no reason (not even "bad luck") why it should take well over 2000 hours to obtain all 10 world exotic weapons - nevermind the quest weapons.

8 RepliesThe "selected answer" was not chosen by me, and in no way actually answers or addresses the issue. Specifically, I want someone within Bungie (anyone with the blue bungie tag) to reply to this thread saying >90% of exotic drops being year 1 duplicates is how it's supposed to be (admit lying about weighted drops) or acknowledge there is a bug and say when it will be fixed. This will be bumped until either of these things happen, regardless of downvotes or replies from people who aren't bungie.
