Let Petras run guarantee 1k
Another good idea from the community. Since you have to do the WHOLE RAID without dying, why not give 1k and the triumph. It's an INSANELY difficult challenge with few rewards considered worthy. 1k has a horrible drop rate anyway, so it would incentivise flawless raiding and increase the overall skill of the player base.

Let's all think about this on what really there is nothing Bungie going to do about getting the bad drop rate on the 1K you can only get out of the RAID. For all of you that say farm it , I have did that 34 times to where my team mates don't even want to go into the Last Wish RAID with me knowing that once again I don't pull it from one of 24 chests. I grind more than most so not getting this weapon from all the grinding has made and most of my clans mates look from a more enjoyable game other than the grind to get nothing. There should be some kind of AI that would just be set in place that after so many runs you can get the 1K , but what do I know on Bungie thinking. You can play for hours with nothing dropping, take the NightFall weapons for a example. Run if 50 times all at over 100K just to get nothing but OK , lets try the shit again. Just a rise & repeat kind of game. Look at all the weapons & Armor from D1 that are now in D2. Same BS just a different game

If you do the whole raid without dying - you should get a massively higher shot at getting it. That’s a huge challenge .

This is a weird one for me, I agree and I also don't agree. What I think a good Idea is the % of 1k voices goes up 1% every time you don't get it. It's not much but at least it's not just RNG it's the grind also.

That makes it much easier because honestly the hardest part of the raid for most people is the jumping puzzles lol just call out "I'm falling", you get kicked and then rejoin and all is fine.

1 ReplyAgreed, I miss just normal quests that are difficult to complete, because I only have time for 2 characters so I can only do 2 raids a week and I still don't have 1k, it really pisses me off, if they made this change it make me extremely happy

Also, while we're at it, make soloing the Shattered Throne guarantee you the cosmetics your missing. 😑 Its a complete and utter insult that we do these hard activities and can't have a title because, of an RNG drop. Titles should be about skill, not luck. You're taking away the value of the title by attaching a raffle to it.

The only concern would be that Bungie will probaby make it drop even less for everyone else to 'compensate' for it getting guaranteed from Petras Run. -

if you do petra’s it should be 50% chance. you still won’t get it every time, but you’ll get it half of the time

petras run is not insanely difficult its moderate at best the only challenge is not having one of your team mates foolishly fall of the jumping puzzles
