Just some food for thought. Me personally, I don’t like the new pop music played on radio nowadays
Me personally, I don’t like the new pop music played on radio nowadays
There’s your problem. If you’re listening to the radio for good music you’re not going to find it. Good music still exists but it’s not in the charts anymore. You’ve just got to go digging for it.

2 RepliesYou look in the wrong spots. Look up some of the most recent European metal/rock, Billy Talent, Dropkick Murphy's, and Disturbed are all decent, as well.
The music was good up to the 90s update.
There was shit music back in those days too. It just didn’t survive as well

Good music is there, the radio isn’t going to help.

4 RepliesOnce you've heard one AC/DC song, you've heard them all. There's nothing all that special about them when it comes to the instrumentation and lyrics. And I'm also starting to dislike Queen because of their most popular songs being spammed constantly on nearly every single ad or movie trailer. That's not what they were about. Led Zeppelin though is timeless and always will be. There will never be another band like them.

I listen to either the current rock or classic rock radio stations, or simply to my music library from my phone. I never hear any contemporary pop or r&b, rap, whatever unless I see a TV commercial using it. Even then I don't know what those songs are, and I'm ok with that. So Van Halen, Queen, SRV, Boston, Kansas, A7F, Molly Hatchet, REO, several other classic rock and 90s - early 2000s bands go with me wherever I am.

2 RepliesTheir music is still there you know... You can still listen to it...
