Simple enough it's near impossible to duel someone else who is use Luna or not forgotten.
I thought the whole point of these weapons was to match the 3 tap capability of other hand cannons.
It's not. It feels like this gun was intentionally made for pub stomping.
It is waaaay to forgiving to if you hit a body shot where other hand cannons you get rekt.
Inb4 someone says grind and go get yourself I've had it since the second week of forsaken.
I think these two weapons need there archetype changed to 150 so if you hit two crits in a row you'll actually be rewarded for your skill instead of just spamming 180 3 taps.
Or make it so mag howl only procs if the next hit is to the head.
Or when you get a kill with it you'll get increased damage without reloading until your next kill.

It is very easy to duel against these. Sidearms are still and have always been amazing. and you can easily outrange them with say, ace of spades for a handcannon, or any scout or pulse. -
Wasting your breath Luna's Howl users are worst that the Graviton Lance users and saying anything bad about LH or NF instantly labels you as a skill less scrub who needs to "git gud". LH and NF are a mistake and should be removed from the game just from the sheer fact the amount of toxicity and elitism they are causing.

Oh good, this community does have sanity, 0 upvotes still.

23 RepliesNot going to happen and I totally disagree with you. We Luna users put the time and effort into getting this weapon. We deserve it. Go put the time and effort in and you too can have some fun.
and before you say this and that about match making etc. I ran solo all the way to 1900 points and I'm definitely not that awesome at pvp. You just got to dedicate some time to get it. 4 RepliesEhh who cares, last word will be rampant in the crucible in about a month so Luna/NF will be replaced with that.... I already know I’m using it :)
-
But you dont get rewarded for spamming 3 taps? You need to HIT two head shots first, also lunas range is wank. Not forgotten on the other hand is godly that I could moan about but hey if you’ve got it you must if really earned it cos getting to legend in glory is a tough job!

I'm just using luna till I get redrix it's a decent weapon but I I want to use a fusion rifle
-
18 RepliesI mean if you can put in the effort to earn the gun, you DESERVE it to be powerful.
-
2 RepliesI agree, I made a post about this weapon, but people were too toxic and were defending it. It takes no skill at all. Make it a 140 or 150 archetype and it’ll take skill

4 RepliesEdited by Huuballawick: 12/2/2018 7:41:33 AMIt is ridiculously powerful, but that's kind of the point. It's a pinnacle weapon. Nerfing it so it's in line with everything else punishes those who earned it to appease those who can't. If it were a specific random drop that was only overpowered with a certain random roll, that would be one thing. It would mean that luck decides battles. Though Comp can feel like a slot machine sometimes, those who got Luna's at the very least put the time in to earn it, and anyone who goes all the way can most certainly earn the same one everyone else did. If it's really that bothersome, you can just outrange it or out Luna the person using it. Most people I come across in Quickplay who use Luna's aren't very good with it and kill me maybe like once or twice with it. Edit: Also, it requires 2 consecutive headshots to 3 tap. 1 headshot then 1 body will force you to 4 shot them. By the time you're able to land those 4 shots, they can outgun you. It rewards accuracy, but if you can't be consistent, it's arguably worse than Trust.

1 ReplyThe point of Luna’s Howl is to be a 180 that three-taps. You want it to be a 150, it’ll have to two tap. It’s a bitch to play against. I don’t have it, and The only experience I ever have with it will be getting domed by it. Life sucks. Get a helmet.

2 RepliesTelesto is better and bygones outranges it. Look at that, a counter to luna....
-
4 RepliesId have to dosagree at range the trust beats the lunas often and the lunas can hang with the not forgotten at mid to close range. I think the guns are well balanced and a perfect pinnacle weapon. Where as the redrix is underpowered
-
It is pretty unfair to play against. I kinda feel like a way to balance it is a matchmaking system that limits certain guns to a specific amount. Like maybe where only two people on a side are allowed to have it. That way you don't play against stacked teams all using it. It can add balance to the game in a new way. It will force teams to actually strategize their matches and actually add and rpg element to the game. Another idea that I always thought could be good is each class can only use certain guns. Like Warlocks using Fusions and such, Hunters having Hand Cannons, Snipers, Bows and Titans having Auto Rifles, Shotguns and Rocket Launchers. It would make each class feel special and unique. And a reason to have a favored class aside from a different jump mechanic and super.. but I digress. Implementing a limit and locked loadout would add more diversity in crucible and more balance to it too. Even for Gambit too. Only one Queenbreaker per side would alleviate the fact that it is way too prevalent in that game mode.. making the experience somewhat unbearable.

5 RepliesEither go get it or stop crying
-
18 RepliesNo. You are just upset you didnt get it and want others who put in the time to have their reward taken away
-
What an irrelavant post this is.
-
These weapons are given to people who are either good or put dedication to it. The weapon is only good if they are. They can be outranged, you just don't use that big boy brain.
-
The strongest part of these weapons...is the really good players that earned them in the first place. So, most likely, nerfing them isn't going to stop those players from continuing to be good players, you know what I mean?
-
So they literally are useless to grind for Good job smh
-
1 Reply150s can already 3 tap that would make it near useless. It's a pinnacle weapon! Why does nobody understand that they're meant to be better than other guns? People work their ass off to get the gun they are entitled to the power it gives them.
-
Yeah pub stomping is fun we put in the time we should be able to stomp
-
My idea for a change is to require all shots to be critical for the optimal 3-shot kill, and to base all matchmaking off of glory rank and fireteam size
-
Many people may saw be negative against your opinion but I agree. For a 180 handcannon to three shot headshot is to much. Move it to 150, will still keep it good. And people saying out range them forget about not forgotten. That think is pretty much a sniper. Otherwise make 180 rpm handcannons kick more when you shoot them just like they did in d1. Because atm you don't really have to adjust your aiming.
-
4 Replies...150s already three tap there bright boy, the whole point of this gun IS to pub stomp, and it's not "too hard to counter" before I had it I used Trust and beat out Luna...
not included in the DLC
-
3 RepliesLook. I understand where you're coming from, However, I feel like you need to have the gun to make this argument. (Which I see you do) While Luna/NF are extremely powerful they aren't "Impossible" to counter. I have the weapon but I don't only use Luna because I can be out-ranged very easily. I had a game against a 4 stack of NF a few weeks ago, I used Luna to try and counter which didn't really work so I pulled out ace. I paced my shots and won most (not all) but most of my fights. These guns are made to be good in crucible but they can be countered if you play the range. Finally if these weapons were changed to 150 rpm hand cannons, they wouldn't be special. 150's can already 3 tap if you land all crits. I'm not trying to come off as a prick I just wanted to say Luna can be countered.
