If memory serves, I don't recall a dlc that hasn't increased light/power level.
AOTN, Anon of the Nine, is usually accurate with his predictions. He/she has already provided predictions for D3.

Yeah, it's just that they said these dlc will be completely different from what we are used to. Basically new loot and possibly a new area/crucible map or mode. Then they made the LL increase really grindy as if it was meant to stay more than just a couple of months. I just wouldn't be surprised if it was a small increase or none at all. Maybe some 620 weapons or armor in a new raid or event like what they did with AoT.
