Let me explain you mate:
Bungie RNG isn’t excel’s, instead it tries to normally distribute missing collectibles over an estimated time period that is calculated on the basis of your daily average playtime to the product life cycle end date.
In practice, the more you play, the less, ceteris paribus, you will loot missing collectibles. It’s a basic technic. Nothing dramatic or out of the common.

So basically the more you play the more RNG punishes you. Sounds like an excellent reward system to me. Play a little and get more?

Obviously that’s the natural sarcasm. I feel you my friend. I am just explaining. It is rational for coders to adjust for the differences in player profile. The basic and fundamental problem bungie faces is that they sell progression instead of content. So the only variable they can act upon is « how long till progression ». What you wish for is that this be a constant instead of a variable. But this mechanism wouldn’t be fair to the people who can only play say 200h in total. What you really want I believe t’isnt to play the same thing over and over again until you get a specific loot, but having fun playing the game and genuinely looting whilst doing so. Bungie doesn’t understand this basic primal desire. They don’t understand their game or playerbase anymore, they’re completely lost in statistics.

What they have lost going forward is a paying customer. I am done wasting my money and time in this game.
