General Destiny 2: Forsaken Feedback

As mentioned in the TWAB today, we are going to be making some feedback threads to help us track the community’s thoughts on the current state of the game, and what direction you want to see it move in. This first one is a wildcard. Tell us… whatever you want. Here are a few prompts, but feel free to write whatever. We will be back soon for some more targeted discussions. What have you liked most about Destiny 2 post Forsaken? What would you like to see changed in the future? What would you like to see added?

    • Last Wish can be done with a power level of around 570. After that, getting to power level 600, optimising gear perks and mods feels a bit pointless. It feels like we are preparing for something that will never come.

      Morning, I think this thread is going to allow a lot of people to complain instead of provide constructive feedback. Also another large title has been released recently so it may be too late for a thread like this. What have you liked most about Destiny 2 post Forsaken? I have enjoyed the designs, artwork & 3 man dungeon. Other 2 questions kind of merged into one below. A game like Destiny needs to have a large amount of end game content which isn't recycled stuff, recycling stuff is lazy and people will get bored as it is stuff already seen or obtained previously. When I think of end game content the only thing that pops into my mind is the raid and dreaming city activities (blind well, shattered throne etc.) which isn't nearly enough. I shouldn't be running around to grab planetary materials for end game content or to receive powerful engrams, I should be completing tough challenges, beating the toughest bosses. Lost sectors should be much more challenging, similar to shattered throne, imagine if each lost sector was a 3 man dungeon! and there were many more of them! I'm at light level 600 and have no incentive to play anymore, why stop at light level 600? Why not stop much higher with tougher challenges higher up, it shouldn't make much of a difference to the stuff lower down as there is a cap on how much damage you do anyway. There should be a long journey to the end and it doesn't feel like there is at the moment. The same should apply to the level, why stop at 50? why not 500? It makes no difference to gameplay but is a way to keep people aiming for something higher. Skill trees - Think of most RPGs and you have an unworldly amount of skills to unlock through skill trees, in Destiny you have 3 skill trees which have just 4 perks to unlock. There aren't nearly enough weapons in the game or enough stats on the weapons, I think it would also be good to have numbers on each of the stats for a weapon instead of a bar so you can see exactly what difference each stat makes to each weapon. Specific quests given by NPCs should award specific guaranteed weapons that have specific perks, the majority of weapons available at the moment just aren't worth having and this should be fixed, there should also be enough space in the vault to accommodate them all. Skill based match making should be introduced. I have never played a competitive match and I don't plan to from the feedback I have heard and no reward you offer is going to make me do it. Stacked teams should be put against stacked teams, solos against solos. The feedback I have also been reading is it is very difficult to get someone banned who is cheating, I'm presuming this is because you want to keep numbers up but in reality all it is going to do is make people lose hope and leave to play something else, the monitoring should be much more stricter whether it be someone cheating or going AFK for long periods of time (pretty sure I saw a thread about someone going AFK for 37 games of Gambit). Raids - I'm not sure who designs the later raids but they aren't a patch on Destiny 1 raids, current raids rely too much on mechanics, I tried watching a guide so I'm not a liability if I ever do decide to do the raid and every time I have watched it I have fallen asleep! Strikes - What is the point in having them? Gambit - tone down the catch up mechanics, it just wastes my time having games artificially pushed to 3 rounds. Stop listening to the cry babies, you don't need to nerf everything, when anyone gets killed by something several times they believe it is too strong and something needs to be done about it when in most cases it is about changing the style of play or even changing the weapons that are being used. Overall I think Destiny is a good game but it has fallen short on a lot of aspects that could have made it one of the best games available. Destiny does have a lot of potential and it is a shame to see it go to waste. I won't be pre-ordering the next Destiny, I'll just wait to read other peoples reviews and watch some game play then make my mind up after it has been out for a month.

Well, I hope so ! :D But there were a lot of drawbacks in the Dreaming City and that ruined the pleasure of it I think. Like unlocking it at 500 but you can't survive anything before 530 at least. >>> What would you like to see changed in the future? - About AI : you changed the way enemies behave and now, playing Destiny and killing enemies is just a boring and painful play of "hide and seek" ALL the enemies just keep hiding behind obstacles, running around rocks. There is no intelligence here, it's not fun at all. I remember a time when I was saying that the enemies were intelligent and smart in Destiny. It's not the case since Forsaken (or even since Destiny 2 I can't recall exactle) - About Gambit : the tokens you pick up should be private or at least you should remove the bounties or contracts that require tokens to be saved or so because A LOT, a real LOT of players just keep playing solo to progress in their contracts even if it means to lose the game because they just run like crazy to pick up the tokens and then die and lose them all. You called Gambit a cooperation game but there is no cooperation anymore and that makes Gambit a game I don't want to play anymore. - About PvE content : first I should thank you because it's really great to be able to reach the max Light Level even when you can't go and do the raid. The counterpart of that is that it's kinda boring and redundant to farm Engrams and get Light since there is no real "solo" end game content. It's just about contracts there and there and even if, when doing all of them, it's true you do a lot of different things, it's still a little boring. - About level scaling : i think you did something wrong here, some content should be scaled and some not. It's wrong to become more powerful and feel even more weak. The closer you get to 600, the harder enemies hit even of random planets. It's really weird and you never feel like you are more powerful than before. >>> What would you like to see added? - What about the old Tower ? I always thought that you'd have done something with the old Tower where we were in the first episode. I was thinking about a kind of PvE content where you return to the Old Tower and as rewards you can retrieve some of the D1 stuff you already had. With some story elements and lore around that. BTW when the old tower will be rebuilt ? Since D2 we see a lot of machines and the City looks rebuilt more and more (i'm not dreaming right ?) but our beloved old tower remains ruins, that's too bad. - Housing I know Destiny is not a MMO but more like an online game but I would love to have an housing system where you own a little plot and house and you can add furnitures and all with different mats you farmed in the game or gained as rewards of some content. It could be used to give some new interests to the Farm, fallen in oblivion whereas I loved this hub.

    • So my number one complaint about D2 has been the lack of end game content. And the DLCs we paid for that ended up being so lack luster. The fact you have addressed all these fixs in forsaken but not fixed any of those dlcs. You can take all the step you want for words trying to address issues. But the biggest issues to me Have yet to be addressed and continue to make my d2 experience cringeworthy. And I'm not a hater I Loved D1 at the end of the life cycle. I felt it was amazing headed in all the right directions with rise of iron. The raid was great, the raid weapons where great and I Loved Loved the addition of the iron lord medLions you picked up from the temple. Even though I have since herd that those where just fixs for bugs you guys could not very around to fixing in game. I dont care they made playing that much more awesome. They where growth something new added to the game play. And the Key part of that is there was no take away. I feel like every time you guys add something awesome you take something else away instead of building on what's there. You substitute it , or scrap it and go all knew. For instance if you where to add 3 new subclass. You I'm willing to bet my life you would take away the 3 subclasses we have. But honestly when putting have been playing a game for 6 years . How dose that make sense? I want more not less. Not more of the same. 3 more subclass on top of the current 3 add 6 new playstyles for people moving forward. That's 6 times the grind to build those powers up, 6x the ways to play in the crucible and end game. So often 5 to 6 months down the line after your game has dropped. I find that I'm board, board of the weapons board of the ,maps and board of the powers. But if I had 6 opetipn to play that would hold me for at least a year. One of the biggest areas destiny is lacking in is diversity. Yet that's all you guys talk about for your game model. We wanna give you more ways to play, we wanna let you play how you want, and we want to make every players experience feel unique. But you took away or skill tress from D1 wich I feel were perfect. The new skill trees take less time to build up. And ontop of that there are far less nodes, wich offer you less ways to play and experience the game. Less ways to customize your play style. That's a huge draw back for me. I read in an article that some one at bungie said they changed that because they did not want new players to feel intimidated or like they needed a dictionary or gaming guide or some such none sense to play the game. Wich was the stupidest thing I had ever herd. There was nothing intimating or hard to understand about the games subclass set up at all. It's not skyrim I know many people I brought into d1 who picked it right up no issues. Since all the changes in D2 out of 15 of my friends who played D1 with me I'm the only one who still plays destiny. They tryed it and just could not get behind all the fails and epic mistakes you guys made at launch and since. The fact that movement speeds are so slow, the skill tree thing was a big issue for all my friends, taking away all the weapons. Only to end up giving them back later. Like we should be excited about getting old gear back. The lack luster not so exotic exotics. The lack of story and end game content. But I'm getting off track my biggest issues with Destimy right now are . 1 THE fact that both matter how many changes you make to dlcs. We are still stuck playing old patrols zones on planets we have played for months going on years. I expect or what I would like to see is a updated patrol spaces to all planets a few times a year. Maybe twice a year add a extra patrol zone to each of the old planets. And I'm not talking about paid dlcs. I'm talking just a mid year update. 5 month in I'm so sick of roaming the same patrol zones. Even with dlcs you add a new planet. But we that's not anuff we still have bounties and weekly's and stuff to do on the old planets we have roamded around 100x. Games like the witcher 3 offer played tons of DLC free, substantial, missions, weapons, outfits, areas. I would love to see bungie do something like that. I. Not a fan of pvp, I'm not a big raid player. It's hard getting people togeather for things like that. Let alone people you like, or who are not gonna be douchbags. I have set in orbit for hours trying to get people for trials , for the raid, for missions. Even with clans ,and the app it can be a redick wait. It really kills the love of the game. I just like to ride around and explore. I love to patrol. But because you made nonsense planted like mercury. Or I where it's big but crazy empty. Or mercury where it's just the light house and the dang public event. I dont have much to explore. My biggest my biggest two things I want and I find are lacking in game are. Updated patrol zones i think we should have two patrol zones per planet. One when the game or a dlcs launch a and then a additional one 5 to 6 months later. And big ones i dont need extravagent public events. I just wanna a cool area to ride my sparrow around. I want build on jumps actual secrets build into worlds you can discover your self. Random things to capture you gaze and wonder, giant beast that roam the land, and that maybe come out and attack at a certain time. I want memorable expieances per plant. I want patrol zones that look diffrent, when I go from one side of the plant to the other, I want jungle and futuristic looking sky scrapers and citys. I want snow and fire , lights a d darkness. I want atmosphere. And that's what d1 is lacking for me. I want every plants patrol zone to be the size of the dreaming city. And I want that many diffrent activities and secrets to be able to explore in it. I want you guys to fix you past mistakes and make the underground forest on titan a big exploitable area, I want you make mercury have portals you can go through to get to diffrent patrol zones at diffrent points in time. My biggest issue I want addressed and changed moving forward is bigger patrol zones, add on to current patrol zones like in the edz and titan and mercury. For free and make it so that's a thing when you go to your map of a planet. I wanna hit right trigger and be able to turn the page to a new map and new area of the world. My second biggest issue is powers. I want new subclasses , I want more skills tress added to the current subclasses and I want a 4th subclass before destiny 3 before the last dlc you guys have planned. All you did with forsaken was give us a taste of what we want wich is a whole new power. You gave us new ways to sue or super wich are cool. But honestly everyone I play with feels like that should have been there from the jump. No bodys been to impressed with the new supers. I'm already tired of them. Giving players a whole new subclass per charicter adds to the time we spend playing the game. Growing those powers . Using them finding out what and how we play to make them or own. As it stand now bounties feel like a waste. In d1 it took so long to build up your supers because you had so many nodes. You had to use bounties to help build that up that gave you a reason to play. Gave you drive and focus. After you level up now, it's like why do I need to do any of these bounties? I have all the weapons and my powers have been built up ages ago. I want additional patrol zones. Not bubble zones!! The plague lands in d1 was awesome. But I Hated Haaaated how they did not connect to the regular map. I wanna be able to ride from one area to the next and see the chnage in landscape. That's also another thing destiny's lacking in. I wanna see rain, fog, night time, the sun rises, real time weather chnages on planets. You guys need a seasonal clock or something. That chnages night to day rain to sun ect with real world time. I will say that I loved escalation protocol it was the first time in D2 I had any fun. But it burnt out so quick. I never understood why you did not extend that to all or a few other planets. Add new weapon types armor sets and bosses for those planets. That would have keep player engaged for days. And it could of breathed new life into planets people dread going to like mercury. Made sense seeing on how rasputin was shooting out satellites all over the places. Something you guys at bungie do I just dont get.

    • Enough really is enough. Gambit, 4 person stacked teams must only be able to matchmake against other four person stacked teams, they should literally never see a team that isn't four players. Everything else, fine, 2, 3 member fire teams? Fine. Four? You choose to play as a four person team, you get shoved into a match with another four person team. No exceptions.

      Hi I'm from Japan. I played Destiny 2 for over 1000 hours. Today I must tell my opinion so i wrote. Please forgive me my not good at English. As my personal evaluation,This game is good game but a regret game. Because,There is a rich story, but Destiny 2 can't use much of it. But I think there is fun game more than Destiny 2 now. For new exotics, I think I can refresh with VE, but the exotic armor of VP is too cruel. I think many people could be aware of this problem if Prototype Test Servers were open to the public. It feels like I'm being beta tested after official release. This game tend to depends on luck, efforts are neglected For Year 2 weapon and that park, I think Variations are lacking. It is only a part of Year 1 Weapon that is still used. Also in Year 2, if you get to add Rampage and Outlaw weapon, it is used only. How about increasing the number of parks that divided the performance at the VE and the performance at the VP like Rampage and Outlaw. For Malfeasance and Ace of Spade. Why both are Kinetic? For other I feel insufficient explanation in various situations. Guess is filled Dark Zone,Information in web seems to be an emerging religion. For example, Someone said No difference between Heavy Weapon Finder X 1 and X 3 But another said that's not true. About NF score, Which items are involved in the drop rate? I read This week at Bungie May.3 2018, i told this page to PC version Destiny 2 Community member in Japan. But They didn't believe.They believe there is no difference between 0 and over 110 K. What I should believe? ''What would you like to see changed in the future?'' I hope Developers to be closer to players than now. If the Test Server releases, I am willing to cooperate it can be cooperated with improvement. ''What would you like to see added?'' I want More variation. Weapon and Armor design(New and D 1 series),Weapon sound,B G M(more urgent) VE content that needs cooperation (about the initial EP) ''What have you liked most about Destiny 2 post Forsaken?''       • And please up the bygones and better devils drop rate .. I do almost every gear bounty from gambit on all characters every week .. and I've gotten one bygones to drop other than the one you buy from first reset .. if they drop with bad perks so be it but I want a chance at getting a good one lol .. and I've spent over 6000 crucible token and I've gotten maybe five better devil's and couldn't tell you many of the crucible side arm ... And please change the rolls of the gambit bygones and crucible better devil's that shax and drifter sell every week .. put a task behind getting that specific roll . I miss the days of the vendors from d1 having different rolled weapons every reset .. gives you a reason to go check out what's they have for the week .. and add rampage to better devil's or firefly to it and kinetics in general

          You guys are full of shit! Saying “Nightfall unique rewards will drop more consistently; the longer players go without a unique drop, the higher their chances of a unique reward on their next Nightfall completion. I did the hollowed lair strike with my friends on all my characters and did speed runs and didn’t get a single -blam!-ing drop! -blam!- you guys for lying about the drop rates!

          Competitive should use a League system similar to League of Legends. Bronze (1 to 5), Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master and Challenger. Players can't play with or vs players two leagues above them (gold can't play with bronze and so on), which prevents wrecking in ranked play. https://www.lol-smurfs.com/blog/league-of-legends-divisions Players need to play placements before starting their climb, in which they are placed in their respective League and each season resets progress. Imo, this would make competitive a more interesting and addictive experience. Additionally, so that rewards would not break the game (after playing with Luna for a while I believe magnificent howl is broken as it restricts the hand cannon selection due to it's extremely low ttk) give us an exclusive set of armour filled with enhanced perks and rare mods (or exclusive mods) or an exclusive exotic (don't make it broken or trash, make it exotic, different) and you will be giving us something which is still worth the grind but not broken (like D1 trials weapons were). Just my opinion, would like to hear what the community thinks.

        • Bungie could you answer this question ? Are the new raid lairs gonna have a full weapon pool ? Please tell me your not gonna do what you did with eow and sos .. that was such a letdown having only two weapons per raid lair .. and other than zenith weren't even good .. and please an exclusive raid exotic to all the new raid lairs going forward .. it's such a letdown not having a reason to go back into the raid lairs

          I want to see hunters getting a scarf the one we had in D1 More strike specific loot. I like the long it take to get to max light. I want the bad juju back I liked the quest exotics. But i kinda dont like time gated PLEASE FIND more ways to get enhanced core not just getting one at a time.

        • Strike specific loot that is enemy themed .. not just nightfall specific gear .. and I really enjoy some of the weapons horrors least , wardens law .. but theyre not enemy themed .. there isn't any armor that drops from bosses like in d1 other than the barons helmets and chests .. make a full set and don't give them static rolls .. I love the warlock baron chest but it has bad perks .. .. I wore the cloak of tanixs religiously in d1 .. man you could do so much with enemy themed armor and weapons .. forsaken is great but it lacks in loot .. most guardians have the same gear on... We wanna express ourselves with our gear .. and it feels like we all look similar .. add three or four items per strike that drop .. and when I say items I dont mean sparrows or shells .. that was a huge letdown when nightfall specific loot came and there were more sparrows and ghost shells than weapons and no armor at all .. and at that the sparrows and shells were reskins .. bungie you can do so much better than reskins .. we are here to play give us a reason to stay .. and please stop adding the exotic emotes like the prankster dance and putting it behind a pay wall It would be so cool to have that drop from a specific activity and please add more in the game one for the raid crucible adventures strikes and nightfalls I love the exotic emotes ...

        • Would love to see some new perks to compete with meta of rampage and kill clip .. add some new great perks .. like high noon sounded really cool and onslaught as well .. but what if headseeker was buffed instead of using as a safety net .. maybe reward us for hitting the body then the head with a buff in damage .. so its not a complete let down when you don't roll rampage ... Maybe add Firefly to kinetic weapons .. what if malfeasance perk was every fifth bullet made every bullet explode so we could put a bullet into three different enemies and shoot the last two bullets and it damages more than just one Target .. that gun is one if the best looking weapons of all time .. it's a shame all the perks are very situational .. add perks to the pool like Desperado that can roll on more than just one weapon get creative .. bring luck in the chamber back .. random rolls was an amazing add to the game .. but expand on it more than just what was in d1

        • Good: Great campaign (love the structure) Good amount of content End game is hugely improved Gameplay improved Gambit What's needed: More loot. I miss the full vendor suite of weapons from d1, Crucible matchmaking is far too long Strike scoring and loot shouldn't just be for nightfall Less serious crucible and more crazy stuff. People love mayhem and scorched - more things like this please. 10 v 10 vehicle mode on big maps would be great

          Forsaken feels much, much better in terms of narrative and exploration. By narrative, I don’t just mean cutscenes. The story expanded with each mission, and I didn’t feel like I was doing anything for nothing through the campaign. Ghost fragments for spider bounties are a little tedious, but I can forgive that. I still don’t think I’ve explored every part of the Dreaming City, and this is a great thing. The DC is now exploring an alien environment should feel. My only criticisms of the Dreaming City are all about the public events. I don’t care for any PE’s in the Awoken homeland, and usually try to avoid them. In terms of going forward, I’d like to see old environments/locations made relevant again, but in an organic way. No more running maps backwards like in the D1 days. Add something meaningful to make us want to go back. Spider bounties taking us back to an adventure in an old location is a step in the right direction. Forsaken was a major improvement on D2. Please don’t forget about the progress here when D3 rolls around. Edit: One more thing - you guys should try to filter leaving matches vs. lagging out or getting ddos’d. I think I witnessed my first ddos today. I think it was done by someone on my team. The other squad never loaded in and we got a win. I’d hate it if they got a penalty because someone cheated.

        • What I like most about Destiny 2 post forsaken is the new dlcs and new exotics and weapons that you come out with and I believe that should be continued and done more of. I would like to see the following changes in the very near future and very soon in Destiny 2 Forsaken: -You should be able to and need to be able to equip and use 2 if not 3 exotic weapons both at the same time. If not three then let us use two. Exotics are the best weapons in the game in the first place and Bungie you should not be limiting us at all with that. It would be a lot more fun if you guys did and it would be fair still. I love all the exotics and want to use 2 if not 3 of them at once. You could make one weapon slot give a bit more damage than the other weapon slot if need be to balance things. -Changing how the elements arc, solar and void behave when an enemy is damaged by them to the point where if they are taking arc, solar, or void damage whether it’s a trace rifle or a weapon with an element you should see the arc, solar, or void damage and the actually effect it. In other words if an enemy is taking arc damage they should be being electrocuted continuously and you should see that effect and see it on the screen visually with sparks of electricity and electricity for the whole time and it should be damage over time or if an enemy is taking solar damage they should be set on fire contineously and there should be a burn effect and they should be taking fire damage and you should see that effect and see it on the screen visually with continuous burn damage or if the enemy is taking void damage you should see that void damage on the enemy and the effect of it with you actually seeing it and it should be continuous damage over time of void damage. I want to actually see the effect of each element and to see it visually and for it to be continuous. -Start out with and give way more ammo for trace riffles in PVP. You guys give way too little. You get 150 to 200 rounds of special ammo and at the lowest it should be 115. -Have way more ammo for fusion rifles and for heavy weapons in general in both PVP and PVE. Have a lot more heavy ammo drops and a lot more heavy ammo resupplies for refilling heavy ammo in all the maps. -Don’t have the Prometheus Lens big circle effect where it gets bigger and bigger the more damage it does because it’s literary the most annoying thing to have on the screen and in my opinion the most stupid thing. The circle getting bigger and bigger and expanding more and more when you just fire the thing should not be on there at all. It’s simply extremely annoying and just stupid and not needed at all. Just please take it off and get rid of the very big circle that gets bigger and bigger and expands the more you fire the weapon. -Stop having exclusive content for Sony and giving the people who have a PS 4 good stuff early. You take away and don’t give and allow access for your PC and Xbox players to get a very cool weapon. Frankly it’s not really fair or right and this whole Sony Exclusivity needs to stop very soon. And do not and stop having a exclusive weapon just for Sony players for each dlc. -Do not have the Wavesplitter a timed exclusive and instead give it to and let PC and Xbox players have it now. -Change how Chaos Reach for storm caller looks and make it look cooler and make it a much bigger laser beam. -Make it easier to get new forsaken exotics and increase drop rate of them. -Make the Lord of Wolves always set people on fire and do contineous fire damage and always disintegrate your enemy. I also feel like the following should be added that would make the game much more fun: -Add many new trace rifles as well as well as addling lasers as a new weapon type. -Add many new really cool weapon types including lasers as one and with the different elements. I thought the bows were okay but I want and feel the game needs much more cooler and awesome weapon types. -Add and increase supers customization and perks. Make it much cooler than what it is now. -Add a new set of many awesome weapons that do arc, solar, or void damage for every single week. -Add many more element types besides just arc, solar, and void. -Add and bring the Wavesplitter to the PC and Xbox for PC and Xbox players now or very very soon by the time the Black Armory dlc instead of making them wait a whole year for it. I’m a PC player and that is way too long Bungie and it’s frankly not fair. You can also give us the option and allow as to put the void element on an existing trace rifle like the Coldheart giving it void damage and going back between void and arc damage. Or give the PC and Xbox an exclusive void trace rifle only for the PC and Xbox. -Add new a new void, solar, and arc super for each class with each and every single forsaken DLC. -Make some trace rifles have all the elements. -Keep adding new game modes and match types. If you make these changes and add the things I listed into the game I strongly believe Destiny 2 would be a much better game and that Forsaken would be a whole lot more fun than it is right now. I made a topic for this too but I want to make it a comment too responding to your general feedback in case you only look at the comments.           • .What I like about destiny 2 is the seasonal activities . There is nothing that I would like to see changed in the future What I would like to be added in Destiny2 is SRL, sperrow racing, It was the best seasonal add on that I ever played. I played it 24/7 and it was really the only thing that I was good at please take into consideration to add SRL sparrow racing (please). I have heard a lot of people asking for it, make there wish come true this Christmas 😢😁👍

            [u]Blind Well specific loot[/u]: Blind Well could really use it's own loot pool, because right now unless you've just started Forsaken, guardians only do it for the bounties. It'd be nice if there were weapons and armor to grind for, like Escalation Protocol. You guys did a phenomenal job with the loot in Escalation Protocol, the armor looks neat, and the Ikelos weapons, man, they're insane (Specifically the shotgun), the SMG is fun to use, and the sniper is also decent and worth going for. [u]Xur Changes[/u]: I understand that you don't want to simply hand out exotics like you did in Year 1, and you want exotics to feel, well, EXOTIC, however there are other ways for Xur to grant Year 2 exotics. For example: Exotic Bounties. You could also give Xur a bounty that grants you a Fated Engram that can contain a Year 2 exotic, instead of straight up buying them for 97 legendary shards. In addition, you could also give exotic bounties that are difficult and grant a guaranteed catalysts. The bounty can vary on what catalyst the bounty is for, if it's a strike catalyst, make the bounty strike related (But challenging). You could also make the bounty expensive, perhaps 25 shards? And some glimmer? [u]New Wanted Bounties[/u]: I think these wanted bounty activities are under rated, they're really enjoyable playing solo or with friends, and some of them are genuinely challenging (Cough Blood Cleaver you son of a bitch Cough)! I think we would all love if you guys added more Wanted Bounties for all the difficulties, specifically the weekly ones. I would love to see a Vex version, and maybe even a Skorn weekly bounty. It adds more variety to the weekly rotation. [u]Wanted Bounty specific gear[/u]: To add on the wanted bounties, to make them more fleshed out, why not give each of the weekly wanted enemies a specific item (Like with nightfalls, except not as rare). You could make the adventure re playable once you've bought the bounty, and get your powerful gear once, but then have the option to replay it and grind for that specific item to drop. [u]SRL[/u]: The return of sparrow racing league would be amazing, it would also make Holliday useful to go to, have her sell sparrows and ships instead of putting them into Eververse, and have a SRL loot pool held by Holliday, with cool sparrows and what not. [u]More Dungeons![/u]: I think we can all agree that the Shattered Throne was a master piece, now if only we had more Dungeons with an exotic tied to them to give us reason to play them. Some ideas for Dungeons could be one in the Infinite Forest, or in the Salt Mines, on Titan, in the Ice Caves of Mars, and etc. I would LOVE to see a Vex dungeon! What would I like to see added? [u]More RPG depth[/u]: I liked the variety we had in subclasses in Destiny 1. The idea of skill trees on paper sounds cool, but I want to be able to mix perks and abilities and have my own unique build from other guardians, and other guardians can have their own, which creates more diversity. [u]More NEW exotics[/u]: Don't get me wrong, I love seeing old classic exotics return (Oh Last Word, where are you?!), but I would like to see more NEW exotics than old. [u]More secret exotic quests like Whisper[/u]: You guys sort of expanded on exotics like Whisper with Wish Ender and Malfeasance, I think Wish Ender is the best iteration of these secret exotic type. Whisper had an amazing, challenging mission, but waiting for the mission was a pain. Getting Wish Ender is challenging, but fun, and there isn't any wait except for full curse week. And Malfeasance, well, thats tied to RNG, so... It'd be cool to see more secretive exotics like these 3. [u]Quit tying majority of the grind to RNG[/u]: Some things are ok to tie behind RNG, but it's annoying that the RNG grinds over weighs the normal grind. More grindy exotic quests would be fun, more weekly bounties that offer powerful weapons and what not. And any future activities you guys plan on, please don't polish it with RNG. I've spent a decent amount of time playing Destiny 2, it's really the only thing I play, but I don't have much to show for it. Forsaken was refreshing, but it has its own flaws.

          • Honestly, tell us what type of game you’re trying to make before asking for feedback. D2 sucked until Forsaken because you had an identity crisis. Let’s not do that again, please. If the leaks are true and you’re going balls out RPG... then I suggest you get some consultants in ASAP who have experience with economies, balancing, inventory management, UI, game testing, and matchmaking. It’s okay to ask for help, and you need help in those areas. If the leaks aren’t true and Destiny remains an FPS foremost, and an rpg/looter lite, then I think you just need to basically not -blam!- us over. D3 needs to launch at a state that is no worse than Forsaken. We can forgive you if D3 isn’t as large and full as D2 at the end of it’s life, but D3 NEEDS to at least have the depth of D2 through Forsaken.
