Went a whole match with only 3 of us in the team and got absolutely tanked! I can’t believe for one moment that only 7 people are playing Gambit but then again, because of how Bungie does things and other games being released - doesn’t surprise me that players aren’t playing anymore!
EDIT: So you can still join matches.

58 RepliesDestiny suffers from PVP fatigue .. player base gets tired of a very small % of try hards .. here is how I explained it to friends , if you had a gathering at your home for friends to socialize and play games like Monopoly or pictonary .. whatever .. there is always they one person, who is ultra competitive and always has to win and looks for every concivible advantage to totally dominate and tops it off by celebrating rudely , so much so that the hot chicks you invited , make excuse and leave and what started as fun with funny moments and laughter with friends has caused a miserable sweat fest and everyone ends up leaving.. Now the easy solution is to never invite that guy back .. Bungie has never figured out how to disinvite the try hards .. how do you know if your a try hard ? Well in Gambit , if you match in and three players drop from the opposing team and you don't feel bad for them, in fact you bank 20 motes and then invade to kill that one lone player even tho victory is assured .. your the problem with gaming in general.

742.2K Crucible Players 962.4K PvE Players
I found them. They're on Destiny 2.

Either red dead or black ops.

still here XD
-
Playstation problems I suppose.

2 RepliesI get 4 vs 3 matches alot. This is because i tend to run 4 stack. Its 3 members on the opposing team because it takes a solid 1-2 minutes for a new person to fly in. And even then, once they do land, they realize theyre losing and will potentially leave. So the problem is just compounded with the next guy that flys in.

14 RepliesRDR2 is where they are I imagine. I know I haven’t touched destiny 2 since it’s release. I’ve put lots of time in RDR2 and only at 30% completion. It has more content at release than D2 has with all 3 expansions
-
RDR2 is where everyone is who could blame them rockstar is a great company and make really great games and bungie knows RDR2 will make there population dwindle im sure thats why they're doing refer a friend a desperate attempt to hold on to a fan base

1 ReplyIt’s been a couple months. The grind has taken it’s toll. Many left feeling their time didn’t truly translate into getting the sweet loot one would want when playing a looter shooter. Tomorrow’s patch is probably 3 weeks too late.

Currently on red dead and bo4

ummm *raises hand*

15 RepliesGambit has (or had?) much potential. However, in my opinion it suffered due to things like the win/loss scripting, all 4 stacks no quickplay A match became a script rather than something exciting or unpredictable. Sleeper Simulant, Ikelos SG, 1k voices

2 RepliesThey don't earn money from ppl playing the game.

10 Replieshttps://destinytracker.com 1.2 million on yesterday

The activate player base is still far above what it was pre-forsaken
-
Where are all your players now Bungie?
Forsaken was a massive seller. There's over a million players on most days. It's the matchmaking that sux.

1 ReplyPlaying Red Dead 2.
-
2 RepliesI was gonna say Red Dead and Call of Duty...

4 RepliesI'm still playing but have been turned off to Gambit. Haven't tried it yet, but might, might not. Sounds like a format that heavily favors pre-made fireteams like most activities in this game. I play solo, but still might give it a try to the disappointment of whoever I am teamed with.
