Exotic luck is trash
WHY TF DID I GET 600 ON 2 CHARACTERS BEFORE I HAVE A FORSAKEN EXOTIC??? BTW STILL DONT HAVE ONE... I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY I PLAY THIS GAME

I say this in part because I've only received duplicate exotics with the exception of 1 forsaken exotic. The worst part Is [b]I don't even have all of the old year 1 exotics [/b]

4 RepliesThis is just me being paranoid. But I think exotics are weighted to give you duplicates. I'm pretty sure it's mathematically impossible to receive as many duplicates as I have (5 ace of spades 2 chaperones, 3 two tailed foxes, and a bunch of other year 1 gear) when [b]I've not even acquired all the year 1 exotics [/b] Yet somehow I can consistently get duplicates. It just doesn't make sense

1 ReplyIt’s ridiculous how many year 1 exotics I’ve had. It’s like it actually set to be more likely to give you a year 1 drop and I honestly find it unsatisfactory they haven’t fixed this yet. All I’ve had from real world drops is Cerberus+1 which is awful and I just reached 600/599 on two characters.

Random is a troll. I've gotten Cerberus+1, Chromatic Fire, Geomag Stabilizers. Plus, Ace of Spades and the Chaperone. Chromatic Fire droped for me during patrol on EDZ during "the enemies attack each other" event. That's just pure luck. I waited for two and a half months for the Huckleberry catalyst to drop for me. Farmed for it. But then, just did "Aresibo" HM on Io several weeks ago... and RNG blessed me.

Im on 9 exotics since tuesday, 2 new ones cerberus and 2 tails. Best week iv had since the forsaken dropped.

Their algorithm does seem to be off. I’ve gotten a few of the new exotics but I’ve gotten a stupid amount of duplicate fighting lions, wardcliffs, and Gemini jesters.

They don't want everyone having everything straight away like D1 taken King era.. because then everyone complains that there is nothing to do and no guns to grind for, that's my guess..on the 30th the drop rate will be increased anyways so don't worry.

I’m the same I’ve got no forsaken exotic drops and I’ve got all 3 characters at 600 however I’m seeing people that are completely shit at this game practically get given the exotics

3 RepliesI don’t mean to be rude but this is how it was in D1. We’ve all just gotten used to exotics just being handed to us due to how easy they were to get in D2 Y1. However, I do think they’ve taken away activities (Crucible,Nightfall,the RAID) that dropped exotics which makes it seem like we get nothing at all. Remember that VoG chest which dropped exotics. Yeah I do.. Remember the rewards screen on the nightfall where you see if you got strange coins or an exotic. Yeah I do.. Remember that random in crucible that got a gjallahorn even though he was at the bottom. Yeah I do..

I wouldn't even consider running any of the 3 weapons that's dropped! The only one I want is chromatic fire and with what they've done to the drop rate and xur I've given up hope so.... What I'm saying is today i went thru the hallowed lair nf and with my preferred setup i got damn near 380 ad kills and if I would have exchanged one of my guns for say the Queen'sbreak bow or Lord of wolves I'd be lucky to get even half that, I can do some amazing shit with telesto and an edge transit with ambitious ass.+autoloading holster+ proximity granades on huge trash mobs....I guess for me yr2 exotics are dismal at best
