Free DLC's ?
Is it true that if you buy forsaken that you'll get the previous 2 DLC's for free?
If that's true I'm never going to buy another DLC for Destiny.....ever! I'll play it until something better comes along and then I'm done. Delete everything.....
That's a hard slap in every paying players face AFAIC.

1 ReplyEver bought a laptop or TV which 3 months later was half price? Ever bought anything which later was put in a sale? Ever been to the cinema, paid to see a movie and then one year later it’s on Cable/Netflix/Prime for free? The only ones I feel bad for are those that only bought the expansion pass to get Forsaken (I.e didn’t have it or played them prior) as that is cheeky as. Those of us that had the pass from Day 1 technically got our money and playtime from it (which is not a measure of quality, just measure of receiving service for fee paid)

4 Repliesyea people that paid for both dlcs now receive 2 exotic emotes and a shitty shader... could have at least gave us a 4 sided gold sharder... or a custom shader were you pick the 4 colours... in a way we paid $20 for an exotic emote twice... they really know how to make use feel good.

You should also delete any free games that you got from PS Plus... After all, people spent money on those games when they first came out.

BUT......majority of the Dlc gear will be more or less inferior and obsolete by the time its free.....so there is that.

1 ReplyTF2, guild wars 2, evolve, BO3 (on ps4), every battlefield game since 3, I’m sure there’s others I’m forgetting but I think I’ve made my point, destiny isn’t the first and it won’t be the last to do this and I for one approve of the change. It’ll help the community grow, and it opens the game up to more people.

3 RepliesIt is extremely shady. They basically screwed over their core base of fans by making us pay. Now they are just trying to compete with Black Ops and Red Dead so they made it free. Meanwhile the rest of us had to pay, AND play a month with a bad masterwork and exotic economy. Really not happy.

2 RepliesFor people who already own Forsaken you get: Exotic knife throw emote, Exotic coin flip emote, Unqiue emblem, Unique shader, Consumables bundle. That's pretty cool, imo.
