38 days of Forsaken, 690 hours of playtime - ZERO exotic weapon drops...
I understand RNG. I have been on disability and unable to sleep much, and have been playing a lot of D2. 690 hours so far since Forsaken. Hit level 600 on all 3 characters, cleared the raid 9 times, reset valor 4x infamy 3x.
I see a lot of people with year 2 forsaken weapons and armor. People with way way less playtime.
I'm wondering if its more than just RNG?
I have a total of 3 year 2 forsaken armor pieces, and ZERO weapons. I've had 3 crimsons in a row, colony, worldlinezero, numerous year 1 armor and weapon drops. Not one single year 2 weapon....
Is there anything other than RNG? I would rather receive nothing at all than a 3rd Crimson, especially when I get it from the raid drops etc.

There is, without doubt, a relation between playtime and the number of forsaken exotic drops. I’ve seen 5 out of my 11 raid clears drop thousand voices for the first time raiders. My clan mates who observed this decided to take a month long break from destiny in order to “get their rng up” and their first week back, both of them received 3 or more forsaken exotic weapons or armor pieces. I also have clan mates that have completed the raid more than 30 times and they still have not received thousand voices. Bungie knows their game lacks content so they resort to these tactics to keep dedicated players grinding and to keep casual players from losing interest.

My wife plays once a week and has more Y2 exotics than me, I play every day

Idk I’ve played every day for a lot of hours since forsaken came out (nowhere near you) and have 2 non quest forsaken exotics.

I've had 8 pieces of armor and wepons drop since Forsaken launch. None of them are ones that I want. That's part of the RNG. PS: Of those 8 only 2 are Forsaken exotics. Cerberus+1 and Wavesplitter. They both suck

Nothing more than RNG...my first exotic drop after forsaken launched was the Black Talon. I just recently got the 2 tailed fox like last week. And this week i got an armor pc for my warlock. Other than that its been all yr 1 exotics. I play basically everyday 3 to 4 hours. PS: Im the guy all my friends hate to play with because of all the exotics i get. But even i have just the 3 forsaken exotics....which is still more than my friends, lol
