Go ahead and list your pick. Mine is Hardlight. It’s got more stability, handling, and base range than ether doctor, but ether doctor beats it because of one soul reason: recoil. Ether doctor is far more effective at range than a weapon that’s supposed to have max range.
(Try to be clear in your reasons in why you don’t think a weapon or armor piece isn’t good enough)

Badly need buffing. Absolute trash for something I was so excited for.

2 RepliesThey're all pretty much in a bad place. Either they're powerful and fun to use but everyone has them, or the exotic perk is not worth using. I'd say the closest exotic to feel exotic in my opinion is the Whisper. It was somewhat difficult to get (at the time) and it does crazy damage in PvE. Other than that nothing really excites me when it comes to exotics.

1 ReplyEdited by DarthUriah84: 10/13/2018 5:36:36 PMPolaris Lance. Takes 5 shots to activate a perk that is significantly less powerful than the similar perks on Sunshot and G.F. that are always active.

Lord of Wolves does not actually make me the leader of a pack of wolves.

3 RepliesWith title i thought you meant their name. Not their rarity.

Wavesplitter. Why is fluctuating damage an exotic perk? Damage should increase per kill similar to rampage. Picking up orb sets damage to max (it already has that perk) Lord of Wolves. What was wrong with the D1 version? The ammo capacity is too small to have the perk be useful. Either change the perk so it reloads without using reserves (bad juju, crimson), get rid of the double burst per kill which leaves it at 5 per burst (takes ammo from reserve) or revert it to D1 where kills support your fireteam with a buff

9 RepliesI'll list my Exotics I think need buffed or changed and why they feel underwhelming. MIDA Multi-Tool -Mediocre perks on a mediocre Scout Rifle Sweet Business -Generally just impractical due to it's sluggishness. Doesn't work in a fast-pace game setting. The Jade Rabbit -Exotic perk isn't very noticeable and it's Trait is literally Zen Moment. SUROS Regime -It's just a slightly better Sweet Business that can give health back, nothing too crazy. Wish-Ender -Overall a buggy mess, slow charge time, and short time holding said charge. Can't use it reactively very well and can't use it preemptively very well either. Malfeasance -Explosions come into play too late for most encounters and the explosions aren't very big either. More of tiny pops. Fighting Lion -Will probably be off this list once it's Catalyst releases. Sunshot -Just needs 2 more rounds per magazine and it's good. Skyburner's Oath -Needs more reasons for you to choose between ADS and hip-fire. Both are trash as is anyway, so why use the damn gun? Hard Light -Just remove the screen shake and give it Genesis. Merciless -Give it's catalyst Full Auto and we have a phenomenal Exotic. Prometheus Lens -Give it DoT and it's good. The Prospector -Rework the damn thing to make it actually viable in any scenario. Worldline Zero -Honestly don't know what to do here, maybe just a general Sword buff. Two-Tailed Fox -Remove the stupid initial slow velocity on the rockets and increase it RoF.(Literally have to wait a reload while behind Rally Barricade or in LunaBoot Rifts in order to fire again) Knucklehead Radar -Give me more reason to use this over Radar mods. Foetracer -Make the extra damage actually noticeable. Graviton Forfeit -Used to be one of the best Exotics in the game and now it's just a trashy Exotic. Wormhusk Crown -Revert. The. Nerf. Young Ahamkara's Spine -Why can't we have two grenades again? Tripmines are hella mediocre, not like it would make it overpowered. Mechaneer's Tricksleeves -Give me more reason to use these with Sidearms. Sealed Ahamkara Grasps -Too situational and really only pairs well with the IKELOS SG. Oathkeeper -Fix bugs. Lucky Pants -Give me more reason to use these with Hand Cannons. Gemini Jester -Actually give me something that allows me to dodge near enemies safer or more reliably. Khepri's Horn -Maybe make the Barricade solar blast... USEFUL? Eternal Warrior -Make the overshield apply to Thundercrash too. ACD/0 Feedback Fence -Change melee kills to melee hits. Ashen Wake -Direct impacts deal more damage please. Wormgod Caress -Give me reason to use this over Synthoceps. Crest of Alpha Lupi -Make the barricade heal... better. Actium War Rig -Give me more reason to use this with Auto Rifles. Mk. 44 Stand Asides -Yeah... just buff it. Antaeus Wards -Make them more reliable and maybe double the damage of deflected projectiles? Eye of Another World -Give me reason to use this over Nezarec's Sin or Crown of Tempests. The Stag -Maybe increase the AoE of rifts? Karnstein Armlets -Revert their nerf from long ago maybe? Winter's Guile -Differentiate it from Wormgod Caress maybe? All Aeon Gauntlets -Rework them. Claws of Ahamkara -Double melee charges aren't as impressive on Warlocks or Hunters anymore. Starfire Protocol -Fusion Grenades aren't as impressive anymore. Wings of Sacred Dawn -Empyrean Bellicose was a lackluster idea, why bring it back? Vesper of Radius -Maybe make the Arc shockwave continue to pulsate? Sanguine Alchemy -Give me like any reason at all to use this. Rant over :)

Worldline Zero. Looks amazing
sucks balls
1 ReplyExotics in destiny 2 feel like blues half the time, and tbh they only live up to looking exotic rather than feeling like legendary.
-
2 RepliesAll of them really, I never feel the need to use one. Not even on a personal level where I think it is fun to use because it is offering something different. The closest one to doing that I guess is the coil rocket or whatever I can't remember.
-
7 RepliesI dont get why war rig only reloads Auto rifles
-
Strum because drang doesn’t have random rolls.
-
13 RepliesExotics that favor PvP over PvE: Mechaneer's Tricksleeves Lion's Rampant Graviton Forfeit Sanguine Alchemy The Stag Peacekeepers Knucklehead Radar Lucky Pants Gemini Jester Foetracer Generally useless: Khepri's Horn Ashen Wake Crest of Alpha Lupi All Aeon gear Young ahamkara's spine Apotheosis Veil Wings of Sacred Dawn Weapons: Rat King Mida Chaperone (damage falloff on a slug, really?) Fighting Lion Merciless (small ammo reserves) Legend of Acrius

2 RepliesAeon Anything Hard Light

Suros Regime and Prospector. Suros is trash compared to a number of legendary auto rifles, especially if those legendaries have good rolls. Prospector isn’t special at all and isn’t good enough to compete with good rolls on Edge Transit or Play of the Game
-
6 RepliesMalfeasance - for obvious reasons now Two-Tailed Fox - this girl has a weakness that even tho it is supposed to have "tracking rockets", they barely track anything when shot, and I can only guess if they hit the target I'm after. The Prospector - there is literally nothing exotic about this grenade launcher. The Chaperone - very situational.. it cannot overcome badlander, it's strong point of "sniping on medium range" is very inconsistent and even when you master the weapon, there are times when you should have gone for the head, but didn't Wish Ender - for obvious reasons, damage output is low thanks to bug Prometheus Lance - very underwhelming at the moment, easily outgunned by most of weapons if you play smart a little. too low starting ammo in crucible Coldheart - the very same
-
3 RepliesA lot of warlock exotics, apotheosis veil, vesper of radius, sanguine alchemy and wings of sacred dawn.
-
4 RepliesSweet Business. It's just a fancy looking auto Rifle with a big mag and reserve.

All of them frankly

Astrocyte f*cking Verse Oh, sorry, I was having D1 flashbacks.

Most Titan exotics are a dud. Only 3 i use regularly are Dunemarchers, DoomFang Pauldron and Hallowfire Heart... And I'll throw skullfort in, though i don't use it.
