Refund

Since I got banned for no reason and will never be able to play again because of Bungie, I will need a refund of the 130 dollars I just recently spend on the game for PC. Thanks.

  • Sadly, you're out of luck. Bungie didn't sell you the game, so Bungie wouldn't even be the ones to talk to concerning a refund. The retailer you purchased from would be who you'd need to talk to, but since you purchased, received, and used a digital content code, you received what you paid for AND used it, so you're not within any refund zone for a normal retailer. Blizzard, also, will not issue a refund, as getting banned from the game in question immediately disqualifies you for any refund for that game. So, you're out of luck. While you may feel that you got banned for no reason, you definitely did get banned for a reason; whether or not you feel it was a valid reason or even if you know the reason or not is moot.

      • Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, autofire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific or if the license key(s) were obtained from a less than reputable source. Bungie does not issue refunds as they did not sell you the game. All refund requests would need to go through the retailer that sold you the game and would be subject to their refund policies. Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. Bans are lifetime https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929

      • You'll need to contact Blizzard for a refund although it isn't garunteed (most likely won't give one).
