4 RepliesNo there is hardly any new exotics in Forsaken, if xur just hands them out then we will be back to the problem of everyone having every exotic. There is nothing exciting about that when right now there is hardly any excitement in the game, you entitled kids what hand outs nope they should be rare

nope. As much as i want something new and cool, i'm really liking the experience of having it drop and having a great experience and i can be like i got this doing "x" strike and it came of the boss. Not i got if from xur.

4 RepliesSome of these exotics are so good that not everyone deserves to have them at once. Sounds bad, but some are meta breaking. Drip feeding the new exotics into the pool means not everyone is running the same "OP" build into every game mode. Forces you to try out other builds until you get that armor piece you've been waiting for. Find ways to counter those who do. Xur is also selling exotics with different perks on them that you can't get from your collections. Only dreaming city, raid, and exotic armor pieces have the chance to have the "enhanced" tier of perks on them. The enhanced handcannon reloader has a significant impact on reload speed.

They deliberately removed the exotic duplication system they put in with Warmind iirc and then they decided that Xur can’t sell new exotics. Not quite contempt with aggressively toning down the drop rate they also added quest and year 1 exotics back into the loot pool. I mean FFS Bungie do you just hate your player base or something? If you believe exotics should be rare then you’re an idiot, exotics should be impactful and add to the gameplay not because the drop rate is 0.001% I’ve had 1 new exotic since Forsaken released. [spoiler]Im getting tired of Bungies shit tbh[/spoiler]

1 ReplyHere's an idea how to make xur worth while. Firstly why does there only need to be one xur. Why not have multiples. One that spawn on vanilla d2 area selling only vanilla exotics Then one for season pass content on mer and mars selling exotic from that and unique legendary rolls for the forge and bray tech gear Then one for forsaken. Selling initially very few exotic but legendary stuff with special rolls. Like a submachine gun with explosive rounds. You could also add previous season content to his inventory as a way for new players to old sparrows. Ships. Etc

if they genuinely did this, i think they should only allow it through fated engrams so that you must have every loot pool exotic before you can buy a forsaken one (due to fated engrams giving you something new everytime unless you have every Y1) but please don't sell them like usual for 24 legendary shards. It makes them feel absolutely worthless. Literally an hour or less can get me that many shards and it would overflood the market with forsaken exotics reeaaaaaal quick

Its not fair that they made this boots so essential for Chaos Reach to be really effective. i didnt knew that when i was unlocking it. So yea i wouldnt mind if Xur was selling it
