Add a mod slot to ikelos EP weapons
Add the ability to add a forsaken mod to the ikelos weapons that drop in EP, keep it at the top of year two gear and still make people wanna grind it for year two.

Or and follow me here..... Just add mod sockets back to ALL Y1 weapons. Just saying that is a better option than just Ikelos weapons.

Yeah... I was seriously tripping out when I got the Ikelos HC and it didn’t have a mod slot cuz I could’ve sworn it was an option before.

The EP shotgun is already ludicrously powerful, but I kinda zone out thinking about it with the mod to do more damage to bosses, it would be that OP. The only way it gets mods is if Trench Barrel gets nerfed.

4 RepliesYear 1 weapons and armor is still infusible. They shouldn't get random roles and they shouldn't get a mod slot. There are still quite a few Y1 weapons I really enjoy and use. But old stuff shouldn't retro actively get new perks for no reason.

this weapon is stupidly better than all other shotgun choices, it does not need a mod slot, its the go to PvE shotgun. id take this suggestion more seriously if Trench Barrel was a rollable perk.

Yes to this and all old weapons and armor, I miss my Gold tipped claws from the calus gloves...seriously Bungie you have us hunt a mother loving wish dragon and no claws on the raid gloves...huge disappoint. T~T

It's really only done to introduce more variation. Be happy you can infuse y1 stuff up, rather than d1s old system. Ikelos beats every other shotgun, and the mod is like 5 to 10 percent. Not even a full shell from all 8 rounds in the mag, it's a bad arguement, the only mod thatd make a difference would be a reload one.

The problem with that is that the ikelos shotgun is one of the best weapons for dps. Allowing year 2 mods would thus allow the shotgun to have the "boss spec" mod. stacked with the trench barrel perk, it would probably have rocket damage per buckshot fired.

This. Bungie needs to stop ignoring all the y1 stuff. We paid money and dedicated time for it. If they can add mods to super lackluster y1(only due to bungie refusing to update), then they can ad mods to y1 weapons. Its not a skill thing its a will thing. They DONT want to. simple and plain,

No. Your shotgun doesn’t need anything else it’s massively used as is.

Without a mod the shotgun is still the best for DPS . Putting something like a boss spec mod would just be insane so I don't see them doing this anytime soon.
