Seeing a lot of posts of people not liking Gambit and stuff so I’m wondering if anyone else actually likes it or if I’m just weird?

1 ReplyWhat! It’s hard to find people who don’t like Gambit. Please tell me where I can find them
-
I like it alot, but I feel like I only get marched with potatoes on my team
-
If it wasn't for sleeper stimulant, I would like it.
-
its meh. i play it now and then. I don't mind it
-
Not since the malfeasance quest went live
-
It's fun.
-
I absolutely love it
-
It’s hard to enjoy recently, because everyone uses “Sleeper” when they invade. Also that quest where people want that taken servitor makes each game more challenging because there’s always one or two guys just waiting in the middle the entire game.

Not anymore. Playing solo sucks. Im pushing through to get max rank. Im Mythic III, and after that im doooooooone.

I love the game mode and concept. The current state of the game (which is good) is kind of a negative on the game mode. Sleeper, 5 second ttks on primeval, etc. The game mode needs some balance help outside of the basic stuff they tried to balance it with. Probably adding special mobs that drop heavy or more super charge and not just more motes would really help. A catch up mechanic but you have to work for it. Or if the primeval mobs were more disruptive against the 5 second ttk strats (maybe bring back the bubble taken to help protect the primeval or drop a taken blight bubble over the primeval if the game gets too out of hand. Could even let invaders activate special defenses with motes to prevent quick kills on the boss.

At first. Now really boring

It was cool the first couple days before everyone was doing ace of spades, and now trying for malfeasance. Quests have jacked it up and put the focus on the wrong things for many players.

3 RepliesLmao, gambit is becoming A fail: teammates are leaving if they lose the first round: I hope they fix this
-
When all four of my teammates are playing it's pretty good. When ones afk in the spawn, or if one left when the game started then no. At that point I literally sit my guardian down in spawn and wait for the game to end.

I don't mind it. I don't play it much but over the weekend I won 2 and lost 2 rounds. Both games I had a blast. I was there predominantly to do the AoS quest. Playing solo I was not picking up motes but just blasting down vex and hive and looking for the invader when they came in. Surprisingly, I did not see any Sleeper rounds go off. I got taken out by a sniper and a super and I think I saw a few rockets whizz by my nose. I'm crap at PvP and still managed to take down 4 invaders over the two games and added about 20-25% primeval damage, which I think puts me at solidly average. The first open weekend before Forsaken I had some leavers and it was awful but I haven't had anything bad to say in the few games I have done since.

I like it. I don't like getting teamed up with people who don't understand the mechanics of the game. Too many running around fighting over motes and not paying any attention to everything else going on. And when the call comes out to deposit motes and summon the prime evil, too many don't heed the advice. The same ones get mad when an invader pops in and they stand in the middle of the map making themselves an easy target. I do enjoy it, but when you end up on a bad team, it's 3 rounds (or two) of pure hell. I really hate it when I'm on a bad team and we lose the first round, then they somehow pull together to win the second round, and lose the last round. It never fails.

I honestly do not care for it. I'll do it only to get the weekly engrams. I'd rather play Crucible than Gambit.
-
1 ReplyI kinda like it. Don't mind sleeper at all. I do wish that when Drifter says deposit your motes and summon a primevil.... -blam!-ing DO IT! People just wander around aimlessly with 8 motes, get sniped by the invader and then we lose the match.

Waiting for the Boss Drop Sleepers every where Starting to feel like a SweatFest game mode called Trials. So I play it because I have to, not because I want to.

7 RepliesNo the pvevp crap needs to go

I love the game type. I vaguely recall a rumor in Halo Reach days where it was speculated we would get something similar to this via a DLC and it's nice to see it in action. It's a great blend of PVP and PVE

I love gambit. Although sleeper can get a bit Annoying. it just fun overall.

I like it. When I have a bad game, it’s usually my own fault. My biggest flaw is stacking 15 motes, and not paying attention to the other teams bank. Cause once they get 25, they’re coming for me!

Enjoyed Gambit at launch. But the Malfeasance RNG kinda ruined it.
