There is a UI bug with engram preview that indicates some weapons have been acquired when they actually haven’t. If not in inventory, vault, or collections, then you’ve never actually had one. This doesn’t affect your chance to get it from the engram or other sources that can provide exotics as a reward.

Of course not. Who would think of getting a video when something weird/glitchy happens to use as proof of what happened?! Either way, if you don’t have it, then you need to earn another one. Bungie won’t just hand you one.
