Have you tried the 2 round burst sidearms? Been melting shotgunners with em.

Since d1.... 60 % special weapon kills 15 % grenade 10 % heavy 10 % melee 5 % primary 60% of the time....you get shotgunned every time!!!

Yes- that strategy is quite viable in CQC maps, but ridiculous in open maps. If you are on a small map and like to run and gun, then swap to a shotty. If you take your time and are mindful of the radar and corners, then swap to a SMG/Sidearm combo. If you find yourself constantly being killed by shotguns, then change up how you roam around the map, use grenades tactically (ex. hit doorways if you see that red arrow coming at you), and find open lines of sight that give you the advantage over any idiot with a shotgun that would try and rush you from a long distance. Every map has a 'META'. Use what works for you.

I'm not even that good and that doesnt happen to me, use the radar, use your guns accordingly. If you are built for distance keep it. If you are built for close range, use the radar pick the moment. There is a reason the other dude kills you first.
