I hope we aren't out of luck. Not going to rebuy the game. Maybe it's within the return time period and we can return the $40 version and then purchase the one with the pass. Didn't think of that until just now.

  • I've been trying all not ing to buy it on the Xbox store , Microsoft store website and in game , nothing works

    Use the XBOX app on your phone (I used Android). Log in there and go to the Store within the app. (probably works on pc too, haven't tried). Within the store within the app, search for "Destiny 2 annual pass". For me there were several entries with two entries amoung them that were for the annual pass. Select the lower of the two annual pass entries. You should be able to purchase it if your case is the same as mine. If that doesn't work try the other entry. If all else fails, then follow the thread in this post that is a reply from Bungie. Could have a licensing issue.
