Queen Weekly Bounty Offering Bug
Does anyboy have this problem too? I completed the weekly Bounty from Peztra that should give me an Offering. I finished it and claimed my rewards while my inventory was full. Now there is nothing in my postmaster and i can´t activate the thing in the dreaming city. It just says "[i]You lack an Offering[/i]". So I´m kinda hard stuck now with the third weekly Bounty and the reward from Petra i get from completing 3 weekly bounties.

EDIT: also, i always get the same encounter. my ghost starts with, "this will be our last message" and something about going dark

I was able to get one and at first it dropped an item that was 20light below my currently equipped stuff. However, after the session did it's (for lack of better phrase) "destiny delayed frustration builder" it did drop two items that were at least 3 (three) light levels above. Considering this is the 2nd time I've been able to do this (missing last week), it is a lengthy challenge, and imo too frustrating to get lucky to find 5 other random players in the Blind Well. It would be much better to be able to trigger an active session (which I tried multiple times) by selecting the blind well, and then going there. Instead, attempts to get to (an actual "event active") there with other players is met with dissapointment about 80% of the time, maybe 90%, but I kept trying and after about 30 minutes, finally found 3 others. To be fair, it's really fun to play, but to get to that point is a massive pita and among other shortcomings that are too shortsighted to be considered bugs or accidents I don't see this game building any further momentum than the current player base. IMO if the menus were customizable (where there's room for everything in the vault and menus, and I can fast cycle weapons (circa quake 1990's) without having to stop gameplay (while I get shot at by everything) then it might be game of the decade. But all the cheap stuff, like a limit on items we grind for is too much of a choke hold on my experience or enjoyment. I mean, what gives Bungie? What is the purpose of me having an overwhelmingly rich game but I have to feel poor all the time? One of the best things about video games is the fact that poverty doesn't exist, but this game makes certain you can never have it all. Not even 10%. so, while it's a fantastic visual game, it feels like it's too punishing to nominate it for anything other than what masochists would want.

Players are encouraged to make space in their consumables before attempting to receive Oracle Offerings.

I ONLY HAVE ONE CHARACTER...........me not being able to finish weeklys is EVERY IMPORTANT. Bungie please fix this

In the same boat , petra weekly wont drop, offering quest cant be completed. All this prevents me from gaining light in time for raids and other events. I wabt my prime engrams bungie!

I had the same issue but my inventory, vault and postmaster had plenty of space. I made sure of that. Really frustrated that I spent so long getting the materials to enter, many runs through the Well and no reward at the end. Bungie, are you going to sort this - perhaps even return the lost rewards?

Edited by toni1906: 9/12/2018 11:50:07 AMIt also overrites the Offering if you turn the bounty in on 3 Characters. I did the offering Quest on all 3 and did not present the Offering... and now i cant complete the 3 Weekly Bounties on 2 of my chars-.-

Same thing here - really sucks, but what can you do? Lesson learned for me to check my inventory is not full. Was hoping at reset that it would be there but no luck.

Been crossing my fingers every day while checking my post master or Petra for any signs for another offering, but sadly nothing. Got me a bit annoyed to loose a powerful engram this week due to a glitch. Hopefully they'll atleast give us some information what they will do about this issue since it seems to have caused a lot of players anger.

seriously i didnt even know about that bug and most people dont until they dont get their offering and start investigating......so disappointed! i just hope the people who didnt get it can get it mailed or something.

Yep, happened to me too. The amount of grinding for this weekly is absolutely absurd, and to get screwed out of it by such a simple, catchable bug... really disappointing.

1 ReplyMine was worse. I turned in the daily bounty to complete the weekly bounty, and when I did it just took the weekly bounty from my pursuits without the ability to cash it in. I'm stuck at 2 bounties now, what gives?
