If the new dreaming city raid has revive tokens, Im not playing it
Ive played every raid in normal and prestige mode and did every raid in D1 as well and i can say that revive tokens are one of the worst things in the game for raids and they NEED to go, when it comes to raids, they remove any chance at a hero moment or clutch because after too many deaths, one person dies and its game over, you cant have a moment where 5 or less people pull themselves together and save the raid like what happened so many times in destiny 1. So please bungie, PLEASE, do not bring revive tokens into the new raid, take us back to the system had in d1 and give us our hero moments back

2 RepliesYou win and lose as a team .... The mechanic is much more forgiving lol If you can't revive a person within 30 sec you are simply too bad and dont deserve the loot It is much better than wiping because a person died ...

It will. And I approve the system. Makes you have to work together and not die while also making dying have a cost.

1 ReplyThey did speak of hero moments returning in forsaken.. but Im not sure if the token system was removed or not. It really does need to go, at least for the normal raid.. I honestly saw no issue with how the revives were handled in the D1 raids.

6 Repliesthe revive tokens don't bother me so much its the stupid 30 second fireteam wipe timer that annoys me. Your fire team and you should not be punished for death as your death is the punishment both to you and your fireteam. The wipe timer is the reason i have no desire to do the raids that and the fact that they aren't that much fun or very rewarding for the amount of effort and time spent as my clan mates tell me

1 Replyoh, you don't know? Patrols have revive tokens now too... soo if your solo...you have to wait 30 secs. once you use all 3 revive token you are returned to orbit. 🤭

I'm fine with the way the prestige mode revive tokens work, but I also think that normal mode raids need them removed.
