3 RepliesBungie's problem is that they can't strike a balance between the two. They either do full try hard or full casual. There needs to be ways for both to enjoy the game.
-
1 ReplyYou know what sustained D1, good endgame content. The cry for meaningful endgame was for good reason, being handed everything was boring af. You want then it play it, that simple.
-
4 RepliesI solo'd the wisper with 2 new people who finished the jump puzzle when i killed 2 bosses already. You dont need a good team..
-
12 RepliesYou are correct, but you totally miss the point. I cannot get WOTW because I amnot good enough and play solo, I have not raided in D2 and I have never completed a nightfall because I play solo, but Bungie has got it RIGHT, If you don't maintain the interest of pro players and streamers, then you kill the game dead. Nobody wants to aspire to be a good as someone like me, they want to aspire to be as good as the best players in the game but once you remove the difficulty you loose your top player base. With respect, if you are a casual (I am), then either play the game to your ability level, or try something else.

*too*

1 ReplyPeople like you are the reason participation trophies exist.

1 ReplyWhile there are people (mainly on computer) that solo activities a lot, the vast majority of us get people to play with. Come on man, it’s a fire team based game. Make some friends. If you can’t, then move on. It’s not worth your aggravation. Sincerely.

4 RepliesHave you heard of punctuation?
-
they made for pro players , that got crap isp 's as there isp's got faster they would stream amazing but there game play went to shit. and gave up . people got bored watching the cursor detect thumbs away shots to watch there streams.
-
Pro players? Does Destiny really have any of those?
-
1 Replyyou must have been born without thumbs. this game is easy. they keep making it easier because scrubs cry about difficulty.

9 RepliesEdited by JDTurkelton: 8/9/2018 6:57:13 PMUnder your profile name, your quote is: "I live day by day and let God guide me along ------IN God i only trust" Then you say things like this in your post:
this game has went down hill fast with this mentality that they need to kiss the ass of pro players and you tubers and flipped off the reg players im not gonna waste my money on a game that is made for pro players whisper is a good example if you dont get a high end team your fuk with completing it raids to now saying that cant wait for the cock sucker to make his BS comment
Niiiiiice
-
What ? Are you complaining about not having the ability to complete raids ? Or is this about pvp ?
-
5 RepliesI think this games catered to the casuals too much, honestly.
-
D2 is casual as -blam!- though lol
-
And that is a good thing. Destiny 2 came out of the oven to cater to those "regular" players and look where it got the franchise.
-
1 ReplyBungie it's like a dictator bro, you give em your money and they smash your head into the ground. you cant even hit max power without the needy of make a lfg group that the most are drunk ppl, physchos, trash talkers etc.. so funny to raid with rude racist people.. really thanks bungie, seems that bungie is racist at the end..
-
Edited by Xienthius: 8/9/2018 6:55:20 PMYes, because them catering to the casuals and regs really helped the game didn't it? Made the game boring and just not fun And the Whisper.. are you serious? I am average, and got it first try jesus christ. It's about time Bungie stop serving the people asking 'Please sir, can I have more' and actually earn the good weapons. Raid isn't hard. Only completed it twice and got the mechanics down like the back of my hand. Only thing you team needs is communication and no twats.
-
now saying that cant wait for the cock sucker to make his BS comment
You sir, are a fourtune teller.
-
You make it almost impossible to agree with you when you make a valid point and then immediately undermine yourself by hurrying it under insults and immaturity. I get that you’re frustrated, and in a way I often get frustrated myself, but maybe take a few minutes to consider what you’re saying before posting or edit it to back it up with examples to make your point stronger and remove all the nonsense shit talk.
-
4 RepliesYou still can't get the Whisper? That's sad.
-
Edited by parallelish: 8/9/2018 6:29:27 PMthe game launched and it was made for extreme casuals, people complained (rightfully so imo) and now they are making it for the extreme "hobbyist". bungie doesn't know how to find the sweet spot, if you know what I'm sayin.
-
In all seriousness, all joking aside, destiny is like a sport and requires practice. When the Whisper mission first launched i went in solo 3 times just to get the jumping puzzle down before i tried with a team. Instead of saying you cant do things, just preactice and get better at them. Like i commented before, start your own lfg post and recruit players that are having the same probkems you are and give the end game activities a go. You will end up making friends and maybe starting a clan and raiding with the same people every week.

Edited by Chuck Finley: 8/9/2018 6:33:12 PMThe Whisper mission is supposed to be one of the toughest missions in the game at a recommended light of 390. The reward for it is one of the best guns in the game so obviously Bungie isn’t going to just hand it out for free to everyone. All you need to do to get it is practice and become better or find one or two people that will carry you through. And don’t say you can’t find people because every weekend I go on lfg there are always people that say they will carry for free. This was my experience on Xbox lfg however I’ve seen posts on here of PlayStation players saying they will help. Besides this mission and maybe trials, I don’t know what other part of the game you think is made for pro players. Story missions are easy, strikes are simple, nightfall are soloable, ep lobbies are easy to find by fast traveling, crucible is as balanced as it will get in this year, and raids groups are easy to find on lfg. Nothing is made specifically for one group of players, but lazy or stubborn players might find trouble.

4 RepliesProblem was that the casual audience didn't support D2 much for the first half of the year. They also lost the a significant amount of the loyal fanbase due to cartering to the casual audience. So at the end, they went back to cartering to the harcore audience come warmind which is working for them... :p
-
2 RepliesI am far from a Pro player and have had no trouble doing anything in this game. D2 launched catering to the casual players and it killed the game man. If it is too hard for you stick to minecraft or fortnite.
