Why are the Gloves of Solstice Armour not upgradable to masterwork by Solo Players?
Just looked at the requirement and, if it's accurate, then it requires you to have a clan mate with you. So basically you need to be in a clan. If you decide not to be in one for any reason then you get shafted.
I really don't understand how an optional part of the game is now being forced upon players. Please stop this BS Bungie! If an event is made to be enjoyed by all players then ensure that it can be enjoyed by ALL players Solo or otherwise!
Edit: This locks solo players out of getting the masterworked version. It's not an ornament for the muppet below who can't read!

Not everything in game is going to be available to every playstyle. Those who do not like to raid will not get anything that needs a raid clear, those who do not play pvp wont get the pvp clears needed. Your choices are that, your choices. You have to decide if your choice to play solo is worth not getting what you want.

Nobody is forcing you to get the masterwork. If you want it that badly, find a clan who'll help. You never know, you might actually make some friends. [spoiler]and before anyone sneers about that last statement, I did this 7 or 8 years ago on CoD - I still play with the same group to this day, even flew out to Norway with a bunch of them for one member who got married. 1 ReplyIt's not that I hate to come across as an ass, because I'm going to be honest and I enjoy the salty tears of everyone still trying to justify the existence of a game as piss poor in nearly all important aspects like this one is, but let me sympathize with you for just a moment here. Because if you want to play a game the way you feel like you should be able to play the game, you chose the wrong game, the wrong developers and the wrong publishing studio to do that, mate. Don't forget that it was Bungivision that told players that finding strategies to defeat the Vault of Glass (mind you, the grenade cheese was a legitimate exploitation and deserved to be patched out.) was "exploiting the game's flaws" even though it was Bungivision who made it so that certain things like the farthest back three guardians fighting Aetheon were the ones who would get teleported. Or how they got rid of any of the farm spots in the game. All because if they didn't, players would have all the nice things they wanted faster than Bungivision wanted them to have them. You play the way Bungivision tells you to play, or you don't get the things you want, it's really that simple.

Good to know we have gotten to a place in the destiny world that people have started complaining about super petty things like not being able to get an [u]ornament[/u] without being in a clan.. I could understand if you couldnt get the geae without being in a clan, but your conplaining about an ornament.. Its laughable, really.

Nothing is being forced on you. You can fully enjoy the event, but I completely disagree that everything in the game should be acquirable by everyone. The [b][i]option[/i][/b] should be there, but someone who doesn't do the things I do shouldn't get the rewards I get.

This is an online Multiplayer Game, some even call it an MMO. If you go into such a game and expect to get everything there is by playing exclusively alone, you got no one but yourself to blame for misreading the box or the product description.

You can optionally clan up and obtain the optional masterwork, or you can opt out of a clan and opt out of the masterwork armor. It's like you opt out of clan banner bonuses, you opt out of a tiny bit of damage resistance in your super. [spoiler] quit crying. You can literally clan up with anyone to run objectives and be done. [/spoiler]

It can be. Legit just join/make a clan for a week to do it. It’s not that difficult to do. If not, continue playing the victim OP. I refuse to suffer through what OvP has become but I’m not gonna cry in the forums that I’ve been victimized by Bungie.
