  • consider finding a new game. this one has barely been worth your money and not worth your time. how much time would you commit, to having the opportunity to get the gun? 4 hours? you are moron. 8 hours? wow, thats sad. and in that time, what did you do? improve at the game? gain new skills? make more friends online? no? then once you get it, overall you lost.

  • I dislike the way the message is presented, but I understand. You're frustrated. We all are. Another brilliant idea shoved down the crapper by jaw-dropping cluelessness on Bungie's part. BUNGIE EXECUTIVE: "OK, we've developed this great weapon that all the players are going to want, and created a nifty jumping puzzle/mission for them to get it... what? We should make sure the mission is regularly available by ensuring that a Taken Blight event occurs at least every other event, every third at most? Why would we want to do that?"

      How about start it with any blight from any location? Pretty sure that would make it a whole lot easier. OR not use a public event to spawn it maybe a Patrol, or just a literal time gate OR OR OR..Make it it's own event in the first place? Anyone remember the Blades? or the taken incursions?..There ya go Bungie, you have some options for your "fixing"

      • Shhhh Many Guardians have heard whispers on Io and rushed to investigate. Some of you encountered a long streak of Cabal drills—far too many Cabal drills. We did some investigating to see if this was a bug. Turns out there’s no bug, but the current random generator doesn’t do a good job of preventing streaks of either event. We’re currently investigating ways to prevent these bad luck runs in the future. We did some simulations to see if there might be any more long streaks of one type of event in the forecast. We expect a few more outliers, but balanced with long streaks of only Taken Blight events. This activity will be available every week, and once you do unlock the Heroic version, it will stay unlocked. We will continue to monitor the situation. Happy hunting.
