If you had control of the Infinite Forest, what would you do?
I’d probably
•run some simulations with SIVA (corrupted Oryx, Crota, Cabal, Vex, etc)
•simulate Fundament, the Fallen and Cabal home worlds, the surface of the Traveler and Pyramids pre and post Collapse
•simulate a girlfriend :(
•test crazy exotics and combos (Whisper vs Oryx, Void and Solar Riskrunners, suppressor Grenade launchers, etc)

To start off, I'd manifest a Vex Mind to document and catalog all my findings in the various Forest experiments I conduct for possible real world application. After that I'd; [spoiler]-Simulate a few Worm God Larvae and study their life cycle separated from the Darkness and how they mature under various conditions. -Bring together all the Bray/Golden Age/City/Enemy tech schematics and blueprints I could get a hold of and hand them off to a Vex Mind-of-better-thought for practical improvements. -Manifest a few Minds with the sole purpose of understanding the Ghost and it's connection to the Traveler. I'd give them a few dozen scans of each, section them off in their own pocket of time to let them bounce ideas off each other and see what they spit out in a couple hundred years of think-tanking. -Do the same thing with the Dreadnaught and Ascended Realm and see what they get back to me with. -Run a few scenarios where the Vex directive sporadically mutated from Convergence to Protect the Traveler/Expand the City/Exterminating the other enemy forces from Sol, and study how they'd react, take note of what counter measures they create, what initiatives they take, if they'd comply to the change at all. -Try to get the schematics for the Future War Cult's Device and see if a Vex Mind could fine tune it. Maybe make it so that it doesn't erase any biological user's mind, or maybe their tampering would amplify that effect and fry any brain that got too close. Either way, the results would be fascinating. -Run a couple Fallen related sims. See what would happen if the Eliksni had an unlimited amount of ether, a timeline where Skolas succeeded, one where their forces were doubled, one where they were halved, etc. -Have a few simulations where the City has partnered with the Fallen/Cabal/Vex/Krill and take note of how they mesh with one another, how their forces fight along side each other, their social interactions and how they mitigating their problems. -Have a couple Vex Minds dedicated to potential peace routes for the City, such as comming up with an agreement with the Fallen that's benifical for both sides in regards to the Traveler. Possibly working out an alliance with the Cabal that would end fighting on their very stubborn terms without actually having to enlist in their forces. I'd have my Minds conduct extensive research on Krill biology and possible applications for life extending technology so they don't have to sell their soul if they want to live to see their teens. Perhaps my Minds could even work out that mutation in the Vex directive I mentioned. -Have a replication sim of the Reef's fight with the Dreadnaught so I could see their forces get decimated from a few different angles. You know, for personal entertainment.[/spoiler] Having control over the Forest is essentially having an endless amount of researchers with an infinite amount of time. The possibilities are just about endless.
