We need the permanent system they had in D1 with thr weapons and armor that you could get. The rally should be three times a season with guns and armor that have new and unique perks that look dope. Plus it needs be reworked that other activities get a lot of rep depending on difficulty to incentivize other activities. The whole public event then lost sector is boring. Give me 150 rep for a raid completion.

Edited by Baalwulf06: 7/26/2018 12:40:35 PMAll these weekly events and weekend events, their all just a way to micromanage player engagement. Think logically, we got Xur that shows up and of course everyone jumps on to go see what ol wiggly face has to sell. There's Trials for the pvp asshats, covers the pvp crowd. Now there's the WotW herioc for the catalyst that's only available on the weekend.... That now covers the pve players for the weekend. Faction rallies, iron banana, they are seeming random weekly events to keep players logging in to stay affixed to the play style of "I gotta get on and get this done before it's over". It's micromanaging nothing more. Faction rallies could be up all the time, wearing an emblem or class item generates rep or tokens upon activity completion (I -blam!-ing hate tokens). Iron banana could be up all the time as the Competitive playlist. Hell they could even have weekly rotating inventories. This style of content is going to be much MUCH more prevalent when forsaken drops, just wait and see. Oh and the renown system just needs to go the fk away forever, why does representing my faction add a stacking debuff that makes me way more likely to die to splash damage...it makes me not want to support any of them at all.

2 RepliesShould be permanent, not like D1. In D1 you could change every week. Faction should be a permanent part of your character.

1 ReplyJust came back to playing and was disappointed that I couldn't get the ornaments for the head and chest due to missing the first two rallies (my fault, was burnt out and frustrated with the game). After taking a much needed break, I did enjoy the new mechanics of the rallies and the ornaments were something that are nice to work towards. The renown mechanic, however, was tedious and caused various guardians to not even try for the heroic public events to trigger because of the healing mechanic and the fact that you lose renown each time you die. I also did not enjoy waiting forever to have health recharge in the sectors, but overall, I enjoyed the new look of the rallies.

1 ReplyHaving seasons is not a good idea.

3 RepliesAnd far less grind please. Gathering 1000 coins is a bit of a pain with the renown system.

3 Repliesi would love to see faction PVP wars. then PVP would finaly make a sense

Agreed. Factions need to be like they were in D1. Not just an event thing. The factions are permanent fixture in the Destiny world.. it is just silly that they are now a one time event during a rally that require you to pick one each and every time, and only one per account. The factions feel very lackluster.. like alot of things in the game.

It would be more useful if the faction you chose affected your story...

I don’t want faction rallies. I want just permanent factions like D1. Faction rallies aren’t really necessary for playability. It’s just a grind. Heroic strike exclusives and the ability to do each strike individually should come back. Nightfall exclusive should be increased chances of strike specific loot. I hate random rolls but I do want them back. I hate god rolls but they are nice when you get them. Shaders should be permanent too. Just cost glimmer and maybe legendary shards. I have legendary shards for years. I used at least 1000 since warmind and still have 1000. I don’t play all the tine either. I just hope things are better I’m forsaken. I would lose a lot of faith in bungie, if it’s D1 all over again with the game finally good, but the next one is coming out. Just to be like, “oh it’s like D1 but it’s D2.” The Sony contract needs to end too. Both Xbox and PC are missing out on content.

faction rally is well dumb for the most part. the faction in general are completely uninteresting and only serve as a source to grind from. Most of the weapons are rather lackluster. I see people getting all excited about weapons and armor, but when I see the stats I feel underwhelmed. I stop pledging the faction after most of the last clan I had quit. Only did it for the clan i was in otherwise wouldn't bother.

2 RepliesBump I love how bungie acts as if they don't know who will win each FR. Like we are a bunch of ass wipes kids. Each and every one thus far we knew who would win beforehand.

2 Repliesi hate faction rallies in general on destiny 2 everytime there out it causes something to break and crash. and when i’m doing escalation protocol i keep getting annoying renown that i don’t really want. so faction rallies can stay gone

3 Repliesidk what they had in D1. but i am now RELIEVED faction rallies are over and will never bother with them again after the next one. i only need to do the next one for FWC to get sunshot catalyst. really bungie? is this the way you want it to be? players not wanting to even DO faction rallies and all down to the health regen handicap? i have no problem with high renown spawning more enemies and more bosses (multiple bosses in lost sector, or you walk in and maybe cabal or the fallen had a falling out and are at war in there along with the normal enemies (vex) and now you have 3 times the enemies, and 3 bosses fighting each other and they all turn on you) but to simply limit your gun power and stop health from regen for minutes at a time? oh sure i play destiny to wait behind walls all over the place for ages for the health to regen. yeah i feel like a really powerful legendary guardian... i wound up fast travelling everywhere once i got the catalyst for graviton lance just to remove renown. playing and trying to upgrade graviton lance with the renown system was chronic pain. I WAS RELIEVED TODAY WHEN THE RALLY WAS OVER. that should NEVER be the case. ever. add in the big mistake of nerfing exotic engram levels... if you played with the loot table so it almost never dropped for something you actually USE and wasnt yet upgraded then that would be far better. the mistake, in a loot reward system shooter, was to nerf the level as well as make it rarer. why is this a big mistake? because you didnt even need to TELL us it was not going to give us upgrades in power - we could see it. we didnt need patch notes. like today, i finished my clan and carde engrams, and they were minor upgrades to armor and the weapons ones i will NEVER use (fusion rifles are just useless. too long charge up and too hard to keep it on moving enemy while you do so. i hate shotguns also). so once i played from about 6:30pm to 9 pm, i finished the only two powerful gear things i do (i refuse to do the raid, and the community is the problem there. i wont even do strikes because of it and you dont need comms for those) well since my overall level didnt change i knew there was no point wasting my time playing a moment longer this week. it also put me off logging in my 2 other characters to do the weekly. i used to play most times i was free to, because even after the weekly flashpoint and clan engrams, i knew there was a tiny chance an exotic i could actually use might drop. i only got near the level cap a week before osiris dropped that way. im not going to be at the cap by the time forsaken drops. and im not going to buy it until i see in action the changes. if i dont have any way to progress except two small chances per week after forsaken, then i will wait to buy it until its dirt cheap and on offer. i wont pay full price for something i can only play effectively for 3 hours per week before i KNOW i cant make any more progress.

1 ReplyAgree with that or at least giving us the option which character can pledge to which faction like we had at the beginning with 3 characters on 3 different factions, this stuff actually sucked the last 2 rallys
