What is the narrative team even doing?

I was willing to wait when Ana was just suddenly alive for some reason and nobody was the least bit surprised. I was willing to wait and see what they had in store. Now we get part two of the comic, and yet another quick throwaway line, this time about "hiding away from the world." So we're expected to believe that she faked her death now? Cool, more wasted opportunity. You had the perfect chance to blow some peoples' minds, and the real answer is just "well she didn't actually die, see..." Can you just let your community write the game instead maybe? I'd love to see anyone creative get their hands on this story. Oh, and you lose points for the dead girlfriend as a one-time motivator too. Sad dead significant other stories are lazy and stale and you should feel bad.

Speaker: He doesn't actually hear the Traveler. You got it all wrong. Osiris: He's not really mean. You got it all wrong. Ana: She's not really dead. You got it all wrong. Stranger: She's not really mysterious. She's just Ana's adopted, now exo sister (or vice versa). You got it all wrong. Rasputin: He's doesn't have other warminds. You got it all wrong. -- I'm super tired of this reptitive "Ha, we fooled you again! The reality is that NONE of what you heard for the last 3 years actually happened!" bullsh*t. It's so cheap. They aren't building on top of any of the story that had founded Destiny, but rather, they insist on ripping up every little thing into a one sentence explaination. Usually worded as "nah fam." It kills any of my interest in the story. Why? Because, guess what, it was all a lie anyway. No substance. Instead of taking something large and having fun with it, they're constantly making dead end characters with a paper thin moral to it.
And this new fascination with making a person's relationship with another peroson the singular vocal point of a whole book is something that doesn't give me any information on the story. I don't give two damns who Ana wants to be with. I want to know why her Golden Gun can make light spots that never dissipated. I want to know why she's such a powerful Hunter and how she got that way. I want to know how she found out she was a Bray in the first place. I want to see Ana actually do something insane or risky or puts people in danger due to her unrelenting need to know her past. Let rule 34 take care of that in its own time. In the meantime, please actually contribute to the lore universe please. Ugh.
-- I can't wait for the... Eris never actually fought the Hive. She lied to you. You got it all wrong. Or... Dredgon Yor wasn't really evil in the end. He was enslaved by his gun, nothing more (as in, he returned to normal once the gun was destroyed). Shin Malphur (it was him, right?) let him live after shooting the Thorn out of his hand. You got it all arong Oh how I rue the coming day...
