Gravitron Lance is the thorn of D2
Here we -blam!-ing go.. we end up with 1 -blam!-ing gun that's dominant over every other gun pound for pound. It's good at close quarters and it's a beast at range. Not to mention it has an aoe effect that hits for around 100 hp if your teammate gets smacked. Lol bungie couldn't -blam!-ing balance a piece of paper on the kitchen table.
Edit: let me make this very clear since ppl obviously missed the point. I'm not asking for a nerf. I'm not saying these guns are over powered. I'm saying I want variety. Having guns with a 0.9, 0.8 ttk is great. What's not great is most other guns are around 1 to 1.2 second kill times.

Thorn was way more overpowered than any weapon seen thus far in D2. I remember HoW PvP.

If anything kinetic SMG's need to be toned down ex. Antiope D, since they enable so much Graviton usage. Handcannon's need to be buffed already so people move around the map, tired of this MIDA camp fest to Grav and Vigilance camp fest.

Not even, Vigilance wing rocks as well. In fact I prefer VW. Also it's logical that there will always be one gun more dominant than another in terms of TTK, its just reality dude.

I’ve never really had issues, with a hc or a decent auto I can usually win. Also, Vigilance Wing can beat it 9/10 times.

1 ReplyI think there is plenty of variety. I never use the meta and compete, there are a lot of options people just don’t want to use them or there play styles don’t complement anything else. Just get a streamer to declare something else is good, boom new meta. The vw and gl are not over powered at all.

A good counter to graviton is a gun that not a lot of people know about. But this pulse shreds. It’s Autumn Winds. This pulse rifle will shred through opposition. I’m not kidding you. I use this pulse rifle along with graviton 😬. But this is a good counter to graviton because it shoots so dang fast.
