Bungie have spent the last 6 months putting right what they got so wrong with Destiny 2 (and are still no where near the game being a 'successor' to the original)
DO NOT GET YOUR HOPES UP that the DLC will change anything. It's 100% going to be more of the same lack lustre rubbish from the same company that has no vision for the franchise.
5 story missions beatable in 3 minutes each
2 Strikes with bosses that are merely enlarged regular enemies
'New' gear that consists of 70% re-skins, don't forget the themed weapons with terrible perks
A new social space that is completely pointless and simply there for show and to take up coding space for ACTUAL content
A couple PVP maps
More awful shaders
Lots more comsetic rubbish
and a hand full of Destiny 1 Exotics making a 'triumphant return'
And don't forget the months upon months of an awful meta of everyone using the same weapons afterwards, and the TWAB after TWAB of Bungie ignorantly patting themselves on the back for a job well done. Disgusting developers!
Tell me I'm wrong, go on?

4 RepliesIt's not a dlc people buy, it's a key to unlock base game material already on the disc. Sad but true.
-
We automatically know it’s going to suck because Bungie. ‘Nuff said.

Dlc was done before d2 realese but because the first dlc was so short they postponed the 2nd one to improve it should be longer story and bigger area than mecury the new area on mars should be fairly big with more than one lost sector the reason its delayed is a good one may should be fun so much being added in game in may also with new season with new weapons and new armor and prestige raid lair im looking forward to next dlc mainly cause i like the lore and getting to meet ana bray is what i want maybe some exo stranger hints in next dlc 2.

2 RepliesDlc was ready when D2 came out so all that was wrong with Dlc1 will be wrong with Dlc2. They can’t solve the problems with this game so we either accept it as it is and maybe last a while longer or move on to better things. I like many others pre ordered the DLCs with the game so I’m waiting around till I’ve played dlc2 but I’m not buying the expansion in September as I’m done with the franchise. I feel cheated and robbed of my £80. I only bought D2 because I enjoyed D1 and wanted a more improved game. How wrong we all were. D3 shouldn’t even be whispered about at Bunglevision. Easier for them to put out DLCs till the agreement terminates then let the franchise die.

And you’re wrong. Luke Smith has officially changed his name.... Please address all correspondence to :Turd Fergenson.

3 RepliesEdited by madgamer438: 3/16/2018 7:48:06 PMLike I said, if Bungie would integrate D1 and D2 together (the original tower is fixed from the cabal attack), integrate the two parts of the tower, larger tower! Plus, we then also have all of the previous locations the reef, Iron temple, the moon, mars and the dreadnought as well as anything else I forgot to mention, Bungie and Activision might just save their asses! That includes all old raids, we get our old vault spaces including the new vault space and add 50% more vault space! Then, we get all of our stuff back from D1!
That includes Gjallarhorn Baby! ;D
It’s a giant effin hamster wheel. The last 4 years are the same. This franchise is tired. I’m tired. ...... list infinite issues. ..... and some salt. .... threats of never playing or buying d3... a bit more salt of how rosey d1 was.... bring back.... 🤢🤢🤮

Edited by What I Look Like: 3/16/2018 10:03:01 PMI just wanna say.. that list of yours? Those were all considered issues with D1 as well. Full circle, bitches. Edit as per your last sentence:
you're wrong
4 RepliesThis game is not going to ever get better they are down to 6% player base that means there is no shot at making money and that's all they care about I would not be surprised if they don't put out the dlc after the season pass and try to make it dlc for D3
-
It's content that was made during Bungie's arrogant "they'll eat up whatever kind of turd we plop on their plate and like it" mindset. So yeah, I'm 98% sure it's gonna be lackluster at best.
Y'all realise the upcommimg DLC will suck because..... Bungie. [/END]
Here. Fixed it for you.

You would have gotten an upvote if you had simply said,” It’s a vacuum cleaner.” Sadly, you have failed us. You have brought dishonor to yourself and this dojo! Whoops, too much Overwatch lately! 😆
-
Spot on actually! These are exactly my expectations too.
-
Definitely the most likely scenario. However, considering Christopher Barrette is apparently directing the game now, there is a slim (and I mean holy -blam!- slim) chance it won't be shit. But don't get your hopes up.

18 RepliesEdited by Jamo_3000: 3/15/2018 5:04:58 PMBecause ..... just take a look at the game, over a 6month period it’s in a dire state yet the Devs don’t give 2 figs! But come a couple weeks before the release date you just know they gonna lay the sauce on you, selling you another bag of lies, more broken promises and empty dreams! STOP DOING THIS TO YOURSELVES, it’s literally Game Over

Edited by Senor Crouch: 3/16/2018 1:33:52 PMThe only hopes that should be up is the fact that this is the last DLC we have to suffer through before maybe they start to heavily focus on QoL changes. Which they are going to need all the focus they can get to revert the current garbage system back to the tried and true Primary/Secondary/Heavy system we crave.

4 RepliesI’m shocked this thread has been up for a day and hasn’t been moved to die in “feedback” which is where they ninja every negative thread to
-
Watch both of those new strikes be both of the dlc missions just like in TOO,and only a few new guns lol. Yet these brain dead fanboys will continue to praise bungie.

I'm surprised this hasn't been moved to #Feedback yet. #Feedback - Where an OP goes to die...

4 RepliesYou forgot the raid lair

2 RepliesHonestly, this is all speculation. Until the DLC releases that is.

4 RepliesThe March 27th update will heavily influence my decision to buy God's Of Mars If the nightfall guns are not unique and do not have exciting and good perks, I will not buy GOM If 6v6 Iron Banner still offers the same uninspired loot, I will not buy GOM If Bungie still shows such a slow unconcerned response to feedback , I will not buy GOM If I still fall asleep on patrols and strikes and continue to feel like I am doing a choire by playing this game , I will not buy GOM

Considering that, realistically, a majority of the team is probably split working on the next dlc, and the comet dlc, along with a small group likely working on D3, that leaves a fairly small group that's been working on these updates we've been getting. Take that as you will, but I'm not gonna use a small group of devs working the main game as evidence of how the dlc will turn out.
