With all the catching up they will be doing on things that should've been in the game from the start will they try to charge us $40 just like the TTK and a bundle of the vanilla game & two expansions for $60? Do you think that it'll be enough content to be worth $40?
I certainly don't think so, I think at most it should cost $20 just for the update and a bundle for $60.
Whatever you think is fine but don't just throw money at the screen like Luke Smith wants you to.

4 RepliesIt should be free given the issues with the game. They've made enough money off of eververse to let one major update full of reverts back to D1 release for free.

Edited by name: 2/7/2018 10:27:47 AMwhy would anyone spend these additional moneys on a old game that wasn't fun to begin with ? while September will be probably the prime time for new 2018 games

Overhaul and QoL improvement it should be free update

As they've said, all updates to the game are free. You won't be charged for any changes to game balance or economy systems. If you're talking strictly content, like missions/strikes/etc., then yeah it'll probably be about $40. Assuming it's on par with TTK it'll be more than worth it

I would think selling it for $20 to base game owners would be reasonable to draw people back , full price no chance .

We haven't even seen DLC 2 yet, why are we worrying about the September update? We can make assumptions about it based on what we got from TTK, but hopefully we've all learned our lesson about making assumptions on what future Destiny content will contain.

they're not selling updates. no content will come at a price, but things like 6v6, Private matches, ect... will be updates that release along side the DLC at no price.

3 RepliesIf September gives us a TTK size expansion I don't mind paying for it. If I'm still around by that time it means the updates they've been putting in place up until then are enough to keep me playing.

2 RepliesWell, when we have already paid around $100 for the game with the first two expansions, which so far have been lackluster at best, I feel like they owe us some sort of free content update. I wouldn't be upset with paying for another expansion if the game didn't have so many issues, many of which were implemented in development to screw the player (AHEM, xp throttling). On top of that they try to get us to spend money on XP boosts, while they throttled xp being delivered, negating the usefulness of an XP boost that people paid for. That isn't even close to the only issue with this game, but I feel like we are owed SOMETHING when they were intentionally screwing us with the xp throttle, while still trying to sell us on the Eververse.
