Its not that bad its just slower, but that may change with the next update

Edited by Fenrir's Heart: 2/1/2018 5:25:31 PMD2 is chip away, teamshot and recover. Boring and certainly not varied. At least D1 had complexity and was genre defining. Definitely unique. Not so with bland D2. The sandbox director clearly stated this is "working as intended vision in November crucible podcast. He states most sandbox changes D1-D2 were his personal vision and decision- him and no other. Have a listen https://t.co/YkjfcT4kOo

Everyone knows it suxx we are just hoping for Destiny to get better but history shows that they will continue to disappoint! Dont let them fool you a 101th time!

1 ReplyIt's so slow.... D1 I would get about 10 primary weapon kills, a couple nade kills / melee kills, a couple of special weapons kills ( snipper, shotgun, or fusion), 1 or 2 heavy kills (rocket launcher, machine gun, sword) if you got ammo and that was pretty normal. I could play the darkside using supression nades or a tether or solar nade warlock or a roaming super, etc. There were so many ways to kill people and weapons to try. Alot of us could do ok with weapons that were not commonly used. Now D2 it's all plunk plunk plunk. All the D2 weapons all feel so similar it doesn't matter what you use. I'm not sure if something happened when they started testing for the PC. Sure maybe you can do slightly better with a few meta weapons, but you can do alright with anything even blues. Everything is really meh. When I tested the drops I got, they all felt the same for the same class, so just pick the perk you like and there you go. It's almost like perks don't even matter.

2 RepliesGetting shot by Icebreaker every 15 seconds was far more boring.
-
I feel like in D2 PvP you have to go tryhard mode much more
-
Not just you. Most of the player base has left and the most well known PvP players gave up on the game a while back.

Read title as..... Singing.... “Hello. ..... It is me”. Ya know the words!!!!

Honestly almost every PvP game is dull as crap. Can only take a few minutes with any franchise PvP game. Spawn die.. Spawn die... run in circles kill a few minutes end of Match. Wait for loading screen .. start over.
-
It’s not just you.
-
No. Uninstalled today when Iron Banner consisted of Uriel's gift and team-shooting, like it has for the last 4 months. I realized this isn't going anywhere.
-
Mayhem was literally the only thing that made pvp bearable.
-
It’s you

They need to change the loadout to D1 and make Mayhem the norm. Then we'd have some fun.

16 RepliesActually I really enjoy D2’s Crucible much more than D1’s and I run mainly as a lone wolf. Yes, I get team shot but I also know when to disengage and rejoin the other team mates before I die. I can out flank opponent teams shoot them from the side without having to worry about dead opponents re-spawning behind me; something that was a common occurrence on the overloaded maps of D1. While I do miss the power of snipers I happy to accept that trade-off for the reduction of players hard charging (okay Titan Skating) in and then trying dive in with a shotty that had the range of todays AR’s. Due to map overload (12 players on a map more suitable for 8 players) D1’s Crucible was more akin to combination of a two team rumble and whatever game type they were playing. According to Bungie’s statistics the sandbox team found that the apparent lower TTK in D1 Crucible was less due to the higher weapon damage than than to the higher likelihood of a player having been damaged from a previous encounter running into a newly spawned player (one with full health). Obviously the player with full health and shield has the greater advantage and the resulting TTK of the damaged player also gives an appearance of a quicker TTK. Add on top of this the fact that special weapons added more damaged players quicker as well more super and one can see why D1’s Crucible was much more chaotic (and in reality required less overall skill). I have no problem with some chaos in Crucible but I am hoping that Bungie can meet both play styles. Like many other games I hope they can have PVP games that can have multiple numbers of players. I hope they keep some 4v4 play lists as well as add 6v6 (hopefully on larger maps). I would also like to see more Mayhem, Rumble and Rift game types as well. D2 current 4v4 Crucible actually has many advantages and it would be a shame to see them toss it out completely when it can be saved with some tweaks as well as the addition of these other game types.

Edited by Ktez: 1/30/2018 6:38:11 PMYour bitching is way worse. Plus you're just bad at PvP ...
-
It is boring in d1 you had 2-3 supers a game you didn't need to team shoot to do well you could get more than 3 types of kills and there was a definite skill gap between veteran players and noobs.
-
7 RepliesLMAO at you.
-
well when you DNF every single game with zero kills, you make it boring and painful for everyone else. so thanks for that.
-
Pvp is absolute garbage no skill required, the noobs and casuals probably enjoy it thou

1 ReplyC ya and go play a different game then 😂

Edited by KDAWG: 1/30/2018 10:42:24 AMThe one thing I feel they got right. Also You're looking for! I see it in your eyes.

Yes it is you

Getting the same weapon with the same roll is killing me on top of that i already got every legendary weapon we all use the same shit same weapons. I didn't buy this game to be handed the same better devils five times.

8 RepliesIt needs a major boost to ammo especially heavy. And a small one to supers through guardian kills and objectives completed
