Whats the biggest regret you have?
I wish i hadnt been such an edgy loser at school and paid more attention in class and worked harder, i feel like its held me back and prevented me from from taking some really good opportunities in life.

8 RepliesWent out with buddies of mine, decided to go to a porn convention for a buddy because he had a mad crush on one. Turns out the pornstar he had a crush on was having an "event" where you pick a number, closest to hers won and you'd get to smash. They convinced me to take part, thinking the odds were small I said why not, chose my number and I won... I banged his favorite pornstar with no regret in my mind, little did I know it crushed him. He hated me for it and I lost a good friend. [spoiler]but it was a solid 10/10[/spoiler]

My biggest regret in life was when my nan was in hospital and I stayed with my grandad every night to look after him.. every night me and him would sit up to the early hours as he couldn't sleep well because of worry and the ONE night I went to bed early.. Was the night my nan died. I didn't realise but he used to take the phone off the hook because he was so scared of getting "that" phone call so when nan passed, they sent the police round to inform him. So that whole time I was sleeping, my poor grandad had to receive the news, like that and on his own.. And if the police hadn't phoned my mum with concerns, he would of sat there til the morning dealing with it. Absolutely breaks my heart.

I can't think of many major regrets I have. There's a long list of minor screw ups that my subconscious runs through when it decides I need a kick in the ego. On the whole I accept the decisions I've made as pretty much the best I could do as the person I was at the time.

It’s a tie between not going to grad school right away, and asking this one girl out my junior year of high school. She was a real bitch.

It’s a tie between not trying hard enough in school during my early college years and marrying my ex-wife. Outside of that...I try not to live with regrets. Holding on to what could have/should have been only hurts you.

Call me a shitty or -blam!-ed up person idc. No point in having regrets in life. Focus on the now. Plus butterfly effect ya know? You never know if you changed something you regretted doing would drastically change your life for the worst. I wish I had paid attention to my algebra classes back before high school because not listening and getting bad grades along with the bad teacher made me take intermediate algebra classes in my first couple of high school years.

in college there was this girl who i got along with quite well for the first year and i spent quite a bit of time helping her and her friend with coursework even staying late most nights near the deadline because she was terrible at managing time, then during the summer holidays she invited me out to a meal with everyone else on the course and while i was in the toilet she told the guys that i was stalking her and had invited myself to the meal (which i wouldn't have known about if she hadn't invited me mind you) and on the way back from the meal the guys had a word with me about it and to give them their due they were really nice about it but i kind of felt like shit afterwards, after the summer holidays she bragged about how she had one of the top 3 grades on the course the other top 2 being me and her friend who i helped, i said it was because i helped her and she went off on one saying she did all the work on her own and never had any help from me, well in the second year her grades dropped like crazy because she was still in the habit of leaving it to the last minute and didn't have me to help and eventually dropped the course, my point is i regret helping her at all in the first year tl;dr - helped a girl with coursework, she aced it, she was a bitch to me so i stopped helping her and she quite the course because she couldn't do it without my help

When I joined the army I had a girlfriend but with the distance thing, never being home and being so young it seemed pointless staying together so we broke up and I stopped talking to her. Her brother she was close to, best friends close, died in a motorbike crash a few weeks after that and she started drinking. I saw her again about 3 years later and barely recognised her, she was an alcoholic mess and had gone from a really pretty girl to a scraggy unwashed state. I regret not staying in touch. I couldn't have done much but it would have been better than nothing at all.
