D1 has more twitch viewers than D2 currently.
As per the title D1 has more twitch viewers 3 1/2 years past release. I wonder how many people are playing D1? Destinytracker makes no distinction between the first and second games players.
When can we admit the sandbox changes D1-D2 were a flop?

Biggest issue is there is very little 1 player can do. They dumbed things down to give casuals a fighting chance at enjoying d2 pvp. It put emphasis on team play over solo performance which doesnt do much for a twitch streamer who cant give an audience a WOW moment. They come up every now and again like... http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/DJaye/video/42478091 but they are far and few between. And if u are watching a streamer run stacked. Its as if every game is the patriots versus the browns... gets boring fast...

That's because the PvE doesn't reward endgame play and the PvP is just a game of peekaboo teamshot. Nobody is playing the useless endgame and if your PvP doesn't have any wow factor or some guy or gal capable of wrecking 4-6 people, people don't wanna watch that. They want excitement. Destiny 2 does not deliver excitement

10 RepliesSo we now base a games success on twitch? Must be A LOT of bad games out there. I wanted to see if anyone was playing metal gear sold yesterday... there was only one player playing it. One of the best games in history... but I guess everyone is wrong because of twitch. What are the stipulations in order to be a good game via twitch? I have googled the question but can not find any answers. Dota and league of legends must be the greatest games in history! Does that mean I HAVE to like them? So confused.
